Recently, in Wyoming, it was leaked that a man named #CodyRoberts ran down a wolf with a snowmobile, took her home, duct taped her muzzle shut, put two shock collars on her, let his dogs attack her, took her to a local bar called the Green River Tavern in Daniel, Wyoming, where he tortured her some more before beating her with a baseball bat and shooting her. We are demanding felony animal cruelty, prosecution for the perpetrator, and further demanding that federal wolf protections be reinstated across the entirety of the United States.

This is BEYOND one of the most horrific stories of inhumane torture I've ever heard. I live in Oregon, where we have BOTH cattle and wolves.... And NEVER could I imagine such a bullshyyyt excuse for harming a sentient being surviving here without serious legal issues, protests and lasting repercussions.

As a person that doesn't even like domesticated dogs, I find what he did, deeply disturbing. If he doesn't see prison time, there is no justice in this world. Here in Colorado, you can be fined for harassing wildlife. That means approaching elk, mountain sheep, bison etc for a selfie too. Any behavior that would lead to the wild animal being caused to be put down. They were here first and that needs to be respected by human beings.

The worst thing about these monsters is that whenever their own mutts are at risk, they turn to full on animal rights activists. But they have no qualms in torturing an animal that's 99% the same as a dog.

Thank you for speaking out and the insights on realities I didn't know and that make things even worse. I've lived for over 3 decades in Switzerland, where wildlife protection and hunting are subject to strict laws on a federal level and abuses happen but rarely. In 2004 I moved back to Sicily and jumped from civilization straight into the jungle. We have strong laws in Italy, but almost no enforcement, and there are way too many people who don't care at all about animals, especially in Southern rural regions. What happened to this wolf pup, happens here practically daily to stray dogs and feral cats, let alone that hunters do whatever they want, often within populated areas, including blindly shooting at pets and willingly trespassing properties and cutting fences. I'm committed to dog/cat rescue and protection, I've seen a lot of abuse, and I've been in open confrontations with quite a bunch of subjects. Things must change, and this must include strong laws and hurtful punishments, otherwise, it just doesn't work.

Apparently he worked for the Wyoming Fish and Game for several years and has had over 120,000 dollars in contracts with them and some of those officials in the meeting were at the bar word has it.

Yes. I found all of the charges on Wyoming’s open guv website. I’m currently investigating these transactions and Wyoming fishing games attempt to sweep the incident under the rug.

There’s a hearing to determine whether to renew the bar's liquor license on May 21. You can contact the Sublette County division of the Wyoming Liquor License Authority and LAUNCH a formal complaint recommending that the license not be renewed. Among the reasons for not renewing the license include their business license, which has been delinquent since 2001; they allowed a wild animal that was unvaccinated into the bar where, due to her injuries and fear, she bled and defecated in the premises. Minors were present in a place that served alcohol and witnessed felony animal abuse. They were over-serving their patrons, and gunfire occurred on the premises when, after Cody failed to kill the wolf by beating her with a baseball bat, they ultimately shot her. It seems to me that there are plenty of reasons why this liquor license should not be renewed, and hundreds or even thousands of people complain about the behavior of the bar; we could put them out of business forever.

You can also contact Governor Mark Gordon, the secretary of the interior, and ahead of the US Fish and Wildlife service and let them know that wolves need federal protection because of incidents like this

I am behind you completely. I had two wolf dogs years ago and have been a lifetime lover and supporter of wolves. I saw the first video on this, and left some pretty strong comments. I couldn't believe that the other bar customers didn't do anything to help her. I could see in her eyes that she was young and also very timid. It broke my heart and shattered my soul to see this beautiful animal being tortured like this. If Wyoming is the gold standard, we humans as a species are in deep trouble. I don't want to live in a world where humans have no humanity. This person who did this, I can't call him a man, deserves to have the same treatment done to him as he gave her. That would be real justice. Please keep fighting for her and all wolves and others who are considered worthless, you are a good man, you have your principles correct, and that's what makes you human. There's thousands of people like me who are standing right with you. You are not alone. Thank you

Can’t get her face out of my head. I haven’t stopped it’s been over a month. I’m on a mission. I learned zoom to be in on their meetings. Signed and donated everything I could find. Wrote to every official. Sent into my local needs we had 2 wolf hybrids released a year ago in our city on the water. Thanks to Red riding Hood rescue they are doing great. We are doing a fundraiser for them and get updates. The girls were thought to be wolfs running around for days nobody tried to hurt them.

As someone who grew up living in in the wilderness on a small farmit is a heartbreaking and unfortunate reality to be forced to dispatch a predator attacking livestock, a family pet and/or a human...this as a last resort should be ethically so the animal does not suffer. I am SO glad I found your channel and saw this video!! You are amazing!! Finally, someone who has the same passion and anger over what was done to Theia as I do. This HORRIFIC incident in Wyoming is just an ABHORRENT mess!! Did you hear that they found a dead coyote near the bar with duct tape around its muzzle, just like Theia???!!! Then that Bastard Cody Roberts has the audacity to say he is glad that he did it!!! He is a serial killer in the making!! I am SO heart-broken over what happened to this baby wolf that I cannot get over it. (What a disgusting state Wyoming is...A young man named Matthew Shepard was tortured and killed there, also, because he was Gay). I'm just sickened that this is even true and that the state has not done ANYTHING about this terrible injustice done to wildlife. Allowing Predator zones to even exist is ridiculous!! Using snowmobiles to whack innocent animals is HEINOUS and INHUMANE!!! What a sick twisted POS family they are. His Aunt is out of her mind....who ACTS like THAT???!! I firmly stand by animal welfare. What this guy did to this wolf pup is unacceptable. That is mild to how I feel about the situation. Many share my thoughts and feelings on the subject. Laws that protect animals are too lax. Doesn’t matter if the animal is wild or domesticated. There needs to be stronger 4th amendment protections. There needs to be harsher penalties for people who treat animals with such disrespect. What brings me joy is how many like-minded people are crying out in defense of this wolf. Of all wolves.
