I missed the early 2000s and 2009 games, but I discovered the series when The New Order came out. At one point I was broke and I played the 2009 game on a nearly broken ps3. That was 2019.

I was just about to say, 2021 here, i never got to finishing this one, and its fuckin awesome. Better, grittier writing and i think more creative. I like the black sun / medieval occult idea better than the machinegames new order and new colossus series’ “the nazi’s won because of jew magic” idea. I like to imagine this reboot is at least a shade closer to what the real SS Paranormal Division was trying to accomplish lmao

@@NickVenters-ku1gt I gotta disagree with the writting part. The writting in this game, while not bad isn't excatly good either. It's just okay. The New Order, Old Blood and The New Colossus destroy this game in terms of story. The emotions, complex themes and great cast of characters make MachineGames Wolfenstein a joy to go through. As for the ideas of both games, i like them both. Also it isn't "jew magic". The Da'at Yichud society was highly advanced, centuries ahead of what was available at the time. But the Da'at Yichud society was secret to the rest of the world, nobody knew of them and they were keeping their technology all to themselves. They were very peaceful and were against violence, which is what led to their downfall after Nazis found their secret safe keeps and took their technology to be reverse engineered. The technological aspect of MachineGames Wolfenstein looks artistically beautiful. The gameplay also feel more satisfying in The New Order, but i can see why some people would perfer Wolfenstein 2009. It all comes down to opinion in the end, but MachineGames definitely takes the cake when it comes to the story.

That's a miniboss, not a standard boss.

@@chinanamii How so? It seems identical to any other boss fight, and there's no other mini boss fights that I'm aware of, with this same kind of magnitude. The only mini about it is that she is small herself, but it's a pretty difficult fight.

You might be able to find a physical copy by scouring the Internet. I managed to snag one through Gamestop a few years back.
