Well mostly all of them having a suit anyway xD but that was the case for big bosses in old games, would have been weird if just a tiny dog or else would have so much durabillity.

They hit it good. I think the best idea was to merge the sick nazi/sf scenario with commando-like play and a zombie invasion. This was what gaming is about... ^^

Hear, hear! The story was perfect. It gave a taste of paranormal, then lulled you into the sense that you are back fighting the “normal” war, only to turn into full on supernatural horror towards the end.

i was 11 :D i even gave up the day i was trying to pass those first zombies . I was like: NO , not happening ! And as i was shaking from fear while playing ( i always was and will be bad w horror tematic games ) , my heart pulse was surely over 130 , and i was superhappy when i finished catacombs.

You know your attention to detail. So many people overlook those Mission Packs - I quite liked some things in those Packs, like the Robot Boss, adding to Wolfenstein's charm of Nazis with insane technological advancements. ;)

When i was a kid “Return To Castle Wolfenstein” was the best damn games back then i stayed up all night on it trying to figure out the missions, and even to this day it is one of my most favorite video games ever 2017 if they was to seriously do a Remastered version of Return To Castle Wolfenstein i would die of too much excitement lol

Johnyong Hwang and that only person who poses any danger to him is the one who uses brains, not brawn. Deathhead is the only one who had come close to killing BJ and is the only one of all bosses, who were competent in their field.

i feel that the biggest let down of the newest wolfenstein is the lack of more unique bosses as well as the lack of a final megaboss, it would have been so cool to battle a mecha Engel or sth.

I guess the fight on top of the 'Ausmerzer' counts ass a boss fight since you get two unique and tough robots to fight. But yeah, could've been a bit more epic, but I guess it's hard to just make enemies bigger and tougher since you encounter those giant robots on several occasions, making it a bit mundane. In comparison, in the previous game I believe you only encountered it once

That's actually a pretty good idea. We saw how poorly Hitler was. Maybe his head gets transferred onto a mecha suit and it makes him go even more insane? Could be a very fucked up and bloody scenario

Well it was made with a new ID tech engine, Colossus even got the ID tech6 which objekts and else don't flicker anymore.

With difference the Return to castle Wolfenstein is the best game of the franchise. Better maps, loud sound of guns, action, gameplay, atmosphere and smart secrets. It is as good as other classic games and they just can't create a game like this anymore.

RTCW the best one. Excellent mix of good gameplay, atmosphere, music, stealth, nazi and horror. W3D and Spear of Destiny for nostalgia, originality and for being the grandfathers of FPS. I don't hate the other ones but nothing special about them.

RTCW was the second series I played and I found that game to be amazing, the detail in the uniforms, the guns were 100% period correct and that supressed sten I believe would get hot and stop shooting till it cooled off everything was exactly right up my alley! This was also the first game I ever played from start to finish and I was excited every night I got home to play it more!!

The first Wolf(enstein) is one of my childhood game. I remember playing this game in fears at night. The secret walls, various of weapons, and all the nazi's soldiers. I just can't. Thanks for the video

The first Wofenstein game was not the one with the secret walls. It was Castke Wolfenstein, released in the early 80s, and isn't featured on this video.

I liked the New Colossus but did feel it was running on autopilot for most of it, the not as unique "boss fights" also showed, The New Order at least had more interesting setpiece bosses like with The London Monitor, sure it was easy once you knew what to do but was memorable, New Colossus lacked those moments gameplay wise.

I really love what ID Software managed to do with Return to Castle Wolfenstein.Machine games iteration of the IP is by no means bad but I really would love another Wolfenstein by ID the atmosphere of RTCW was amazing, the bosses, level design,the gore and creepiness .It was really cutting edge at the time.

I killed Heinrich in RTCW by waiting near the cave exit until he comes towards you. The cave collapses when you move out of it. So if you time it correctly, he instadies from the falling rubble before you have to fire a single shot...

When I fought the Uber Soldat in RtCW I was maybe 7 or so, scared the ever loving shit out of me. Whenever I saw one in a cutscene after that I was like, "no... no.... no...." Now that was a game, and the best Wolfenstein in my opinion. Perfect mix of reality, horror, and scifi. These new ones are a yawn.

i liked them, well i mostly liked the new order, the new colossus ehh i got it and it just wasnt in me, hordes of enemies, at least in RTCW when an alarm rang out it was soldiers in the immediate area not a giant horde that never ends as punishment for getting caught in an area that is close to impossible to sneak around. it just wasnt fun even early on.

09 was my first wolfenstein game admittedly. I loved it. Gameplay wise it just felt good to play. Loved the KAR98.

Dude, Panzerhund (or Giant Metal Dog aka GMD) is the only enemy I hoped to never faced in The New Order. Fucking bulletproof. And if you're wearing headphones, their running footsteps will make you run like hell. GMD in New Colossus are a giant pushover. Shoot torso with shotgun to win.

Alex Howard Some may have missed it on that second to last mission in return to castle Wolfenstein. They only appear on the hardest difficultly near a excavation site. otherwise the prototype super soldiers appear which are waaaay easier and normal enemies.

I had a ps2,wolfenstein return to castle was the only military game I had.I played it every day.....beating the bosses was a cake walk.

@@pavalovski650 Yeah, played both console and pc fps and the console shooters have easier enemies and auto aim due to the controllers being terrible for the fps genre. There really is no comparison!
