Ya know wolf, if you ever decide to replay SH3 from the beginning of the war, depending on how long you live there could be a “extras for the best” clause for those external reloads, you never know, your success could convince command to let ya keep em. That said I’m happily watching these and am interested to see how this goes!

I would love to see you join up with the German raider and sink enemy ships together. A raider has huge guns like a cruiser but it has the armor of a merchant ship, lol.

heres a tip regarding homing acustic torpedoes, do NOT fire at a stationary target that is not doing any noise at all with it i tried it one time let me tell you the torpedo came back and hit my stern my sub sank 👌

I have been watching the series for about a week and i must say that your method of attack and play style is far different than mine. One question. Why did you not use the sonar to establish bearing, angle of bow, and range to the target in your attack?

WWII subs can't fire at All Stop in any kind of sea. Only a duck pond will allow your bow to stay on a steady course. Common failure in many of these sub sims.

Does the game have animals?

I know you want to keep it realistic, but man you need to take advantage of the external reserves. Obviously don’t take unnecessary risks with reloading them, but should at least use them. Don’t just let them sit in your boat collecting dust when you valued be putting those into the belly of a merchant!

NORWAY -- is German held!!! Will the game allow you to stop and refuel in Norway? At the very least, after Murmansk why not take a run down Trondheim Fiord, which is beautiful and would be fun to see, and reload your torpedoes at the town? Trondheim was a shipment point for iron ore for the Germans, and had lots of anti-aircraft guns and air cover for most of the war. Fiords are extremely calm, and if I remember from the Battle of Trondheim in 1941 there are lots of small islands and small coves away from the town where German Navy destroyers hid and fought the British Navy when they attacked. There you could reload at night un-noticed by British aircraft headed to bomb the town (which they almost never did historically). THEN, you could either patrol a bit going south and then hug the coast of Norway, take a look at Oslo and put into port at Hamburg or Bremen (if the game allows)? AND, even if not, how about passing through the straits between Sweden and Denmark followed by a quick tour of the Baltic and a look at the German ports in the Baltic? If you've got the fuel, how about going up as far as Leningrad (St. Petersburg), definitely visit the German Baltic States port of Tallin, Estonia, then look in on the formerly Lithuanian port of Memel, and the former Polish port of Danzig? Then there is Stettin, of course. LASTLY, and for some real FUN, with the snorkel, you could make a very careful passage submerged through the English Channel, and slip back into Lorient. I mean, let's get the TOUR here, and see what the Game has on offer!!! It would be lots of fun, and I suspect you have the fuel for it. -- Enjoying the series -- On to the Type XXI!!!
