It really was a unique show for the time. This was early 90s and this was either the first or second episode (I think first). You did not see kids shows with: 1. Teammates physically fighting each other willingly - no mind control or deceptions. Just fighting cause they can’t get along. And 2. Killing off a character early. It’s more commonplace now but back then to have a character introduce as part of the team, get killed off and stay “dead” for a significant number of episodes was unheard of

This was always my beef with Logan. That man has been living for over a century, been in almost every major war including WWI & WWII, so he knows full well that Scott made the right call. I get that he was pissed but he know damn well if Scott would’ve made them keep fighting, all of them including Morph, would’ve been dead. It sucked but Scott did what was best for the team.

He in fact does know sure enough when he sees Morph again when they are fighting each other after Sinister got control of him, Wolverine defends Cyclops' decision to leave Morph behind. Here he was too emotionally scarred to see it.

I feel like if Cyclops cut loose and went full rage mode he'd wreck Wolverine

Voice acting was top tier for everyone in this series. Cyclops knows he can't blast Wolverine. Which would prove his point about not caring more for individuals. I still wanted to see him optic blast Wolverine mid-sentence. 😂

Wolverine had the best lines…one line i love and live by as a short person lol…”you always like pushing around people smaller ‘an you…well im smaller try pushing me”

Wolvy never got that Scott had to put the team first over individuals. Scott should've left him to die instead of letting Rogue knock him out.

Yep, but like you said, puts everyone as a squad above even himself.. he knows he going to have to deal with wolvies BS

It was great writing, gently hinting that Morph's death and being left behind haunted Cyclops throughout that entire season. The 90's were great times for animated shows going darker and taking risks with their storytelling. Batman TAS and Phantom 2040 were not just for kids.

Let's realize Wolverine is actually showing the most emotions and everyone else are monsters.
@coreymontgomery58837 ай бұрын
He's not showing emotions and it has nothin to wit emotions it's just straight logical they left a member of the team behind but yet dey wanna talk about being a team u humans love emotion because the human race is souless n logical
@Syntax-Savvy7 ай бұрын
@@coreymontgomery5883 I has everything to do with emotions. He feels for his comrades and wanted to save them. Everyone one else abandoned them. He literally gut punched cyclops while yelling at him. Are you sure you understand what an emotion is?
