@@bluevegito-6979 i didnt mind the fact he manipulated him too, he made him think that sabertooth killed kayla(pretty much being a dollar store jean who can only manipulate people minds she touches) and made him feel responsible himself in the process giving an actually believable reason to "volunteer" and really showed how low he would go to get what he wants if less so than what he did to his son

The existence of Origins creates so many plot holes too. For example, X2 Stryker says he GAVE Logan his claws, but in Origins he already bone claws.

I think the line "I just gave you claws" only makes it more evident that the claws were implanted not originally apart of his skeletal system. That would've been far more horrific and would've made more sense with him screaming in horror at them in his flashbacks.

@@StewartFletcher They found out that his claws were a part of his skeleton when Magneto ripped the adamantium from Wolverine's body in the 90's. 93 during the Fatal Attractions story arc to be exact and it was one of the most well known events in the X-Men comics at the time. Wolverine became feral and had Bone claws for some time after this. Origins came out much later, in the early 2000's but media of Wolverine in the comics having bone claws was already out since 93. The only thing Origins did, was confirm his mutations and gave Wolverine a concrete origin story as he didn't have a solid one for years as no writer wanted to give Wolverine one, saying it would ruin what made him special, and that's a man with no true identity.

What striker said in the movie was kind of right because in Logan somebody did technically control the mutant population except the same way. He did to Wolverine the weapon Eyz’d them, but of course, this plan was stopped when those children went to Canada for protection.

It's not dumb. It was retconned. It was initially implied that the claws came as part of the procedure. X-Men origins retconned this. Even if not, the ine, "I just gave you claws" is so much better than, "I just made all your bones adamantium.

Even though Striker did technically win, his legacy went on through Xander Rice effort here’s one thing all right in the end strikers planned failed because wolverine help those mutant children cross the border to Canada. Also, there were still mutants around. It’s just they weren’t as frequent as they were before. They were a demographic that was just losing its place on the statistics, wolverine Caliban professor and some of the other mutants that probably we’re not killed or captured by the government. We’re probably still out there just hiding.

Fun fact, Bryan Cox was also in Braveheart as Mel Gibson's *UNCLE!* Cox is also naturally Scottish so its amazing he has the same American styled voice for all his villains. Only in Braveheart did he speak his native Scottish tongue in Gaelic.@@Aemilius46
