I remember as a kid thinking that the sword must have been made of heated vibranium for it to happen and transfer all the energy into the claws without damaging itself but it's probably just super sharp

Exactly, this is what made Adamantium weapons unviable. Once the metal cools, you can't recraft, making any error in the mold that you'd have to toss out and try again, and that's super expensive for the tiniest errors. This is done *on purpose* for Marvel stories so writers don't spam Adamantium everywhere If you could heat up Adamantium tools to reshape other Adamantium? Governments would do it in mass.

Adamantium when heated at high temperatures, it can cut through adamantium itself, which is ironic because defeats the whole purpose of it being ‘indestructible’ depends what type of adamantium your looking at.

In this universe, Adamantium is vulnerable to extreme heat. One it is super heated, it becomes malleable. Of course, once it cools, it is indestructible. The Silver Samurai mech suit was equipped with Adamantium swords that have the ability to super heat.

Checkovs gun. If you introduce the idea that Wolverine's healing can be passed and the fact that this thing is made out of adamantium than you need to pay that off. DOFP is far in the future anyway. Maybe they had Mariko use her recources to help them find adamantium with Magneto reforming them. Either way it was on DOFP to explain that nkt this movie.

I mean they kinda did here but twisted some stuff I didn’t really like. Silver samurai and viper teamed up numerous times in the comics like they did in this movie. But there she’s a hydra agent and the dude in the suit was actually the archer dude who got stabbed. Don’t know why they switched it🤦🏽🤷🏽‍♂️

@@PautinoPR yeah, Cyclops’ eye beams are supposed to be pure force with no heat, but in “Origins”, the eye beams lit a school on fire, superheated Wolverine’s claws, and charred the area around Weapon XI’s eyes as he was charging up. The “Origins” writers also thought it was a good idea to do Deadpool, the “Merc with a Mouth”, with his mouth sealed shut, so clearly they didn’t give two shits about anything they did.

Logan is a piece of shit movie with alternate universe rebooted timeline. The plot is lazy writing, they even reused the family scenes like the old couples in Origin Wolverine. At least X-men Origins Wolverine and this are still original timeline. X-men Origins Wolverine is the best for me
