You have to watch that entire drama to really appreciate how his character turned out to be such a schmuck. Her character played such a strong wife role. Many of her spoken lines are unforgettable. One of my favorite Chinese dramas.

He paid cash in the front desk for a week and he asked his wife for a big cash money so he cannot be traced. He almost get caught by his wife. He was the one who got the apartment right below where they live. The mistress cannot afford it because she cannot even fend for herself, she did not have a job. He let her work in the front desk that is why his mistress became arrogant. He fixed the furniture himself . She cooked for him and they have sex before going upstairs to his apartment . He was almost get caught by his wife and has to take stairs instead of elevator then pretending to play horsey with his son. They had the best time of their lives down below right under his wife’s nose. When wife confronted him if he has feeling for her, he did not even deny it. The mistress even have the blue fireworks tattooed in her chest. He betrayed her full time. He cannot withstand his open betrayal of his wife revealed by his mistress. His mistress told wife everything that they were doing and he cut it short and deleted her number right in front of her which wife did not even bother to look. She is done with both of them.

For her going to the school catch her out and beat the crap out of her and warn her if she goes anywhere near your son again that she really doesn't know what will happen next.
