I'm kind of surprised she didn't send any of these out for a biopsy -- just for the heck of it. I used to to work in a clinical lab w/ a geneticist. She used to tell me and her patients that the more of these that one has it is usually an indication of certain birth defects. That's why she used to send some of her scrapings out for a biopsy and full lab analysis.

I had one of these and went to the dermatologist, thinking it was potentially skin cancer. She just scratched it off lol. She was like "there ya go, just scrape it off next time." Crazy that people go so long being plagued by these, and never know you can literally just peel them off yourself. (Of course, be sure to sterilize the instrument first!)
