It’s awful being a widow! The withdrawal after being married your whole life to your love of your life is deafening. It’s torture. I was a 54 yr old widow. It was awful. I survived it. Now I’m alone because my relationship of ten yrs died of a heart attack after being given the government’s clot shots.

Multiple reasons. 1) You don't get to choose your family. They're just kinda there and you have to deal with them. 2) You have a history with your family, they know things about you and there may be money involved considering her age (inheritance). 3) Family will have opinions on who you bring home because it will become their family too.

A very large portion of the time it’s because they’re ppl like this lady. They’re narcissists who’ve burned all their bridges and are too toxic for their family or friends to keep contact with. I’ve worked with homeless patients and in nursing homes. Don’t get me wrong it’s sad, but we don’t get endless chances in life. Mine was similar! Mom was 65 when my dad died in 1992. (only three years older than I am now). My mom regularly went to the local community center for seniors to exercise and a couple of the men there wanted to take her out after a year or so. She allowed them to take her to lunch or bring her morning coffee, etc but wasn't interested in anything else. ☺

She was a petite lady so everything looked good on her. Even the day she passed as she lay in her bed I looked at her and she looked so young. The funny thing is, my mother used Avon products for decades and it was mostly skin products. I guess that's why she looked young.

Then he asked me where I lived and I told him Wales. He said he had only been to the UK and not Wales but he had heard it was a nice place.
