DEAD Talks with David Ferrugio engages death a little bit differently. Each new guest shares their experience with grieving or perspective on death in a way that shatters the “don’t talk about death” taboo. Grief doesn't end; it evolves. Having lost his father on September 11th when he was 12, he learned the importance of discussion and sharing other people's stories. DEAD Talks Podcast hopes to make it a little easier to talk about grief, loss, death, mourning, trauma, or whatever it may be. You may cry, but you also may laugh.

What questions would you ask someone who says they had a near-death experience?

If they were given a future event, what does that tell us about our lives? What is put in motion to facilitate that event? That’s my question! So many speak of a future event but how does that work, right? I’ve been in the seamless white opaque room and called it sticky “muck” under my feet!

Has your experience changed the trajectory of your life? If so, how? How has your ideas concerning faith and God changed, deepened, transformed? What would you tell those who have not had an NDE about living life to the fullest?

@@deadtalkspodcast when they talk about god being love can you ask them why god allows such awful things to happen here? Why when we ask god for help does god not help? Does god hear us but choose not to help? That’s not love or loving? The first thing I’m going to do when I see god is say I asked you for help so many times and you never helped me. Why? That’s not love? Does god care about my/our HUMAN welling and safety? It doesn’t seem like it, because such awful things are allowed to happen here. EVEN despite asking for help. Why does god allow this?

Such an underrated channel- I mostly lurk, but as a fellow content creator, I just wanted to commend you, David! I can appreciate all the work that goes into these productions behind-the-scenes, but to ALSO add such meaningful conversations around the topic of death has to be extra heavy and taxing on your heart some days. Your dad must be so proud to see something so beautiful built from such tragedy. You're awesome, dude. Keep going. Huge fan! ✨-Amy

I would not expect any NDE subject to be grateful to have survived. On the contrary; the ones who are given the choice and make the brave decision to return to life garner my admiration.

I have said this many times myself…. My sister passed of Cancer 3/3/24 after finding out she had Cancer 2/4/24 so it really devastated us family being so fast and unexpected and so many people in attempts to comfort would tell their stories of how devastating it was to lose Grandma at 98 years who passed in her sleep home in bed !!! Yes I agree losing loved ones is very painful but 100 percent yes there are definitely different levels

I also lost my Papa to Cancer last year. Found out on August and lost him on September. It's a grief that is truly very different from when my grandparents passed away 😢 i miss my Papa everyday.

I absolutely loved your book ; the raw honesty around the horrible ordeal of your husband’s suicide and his last act of cruelty, the long road to recovery, and your wonderful sense of humor. I too have read and listened to many NDE stories, I think prompted by the loss of my mom when I was 23. Yours was one of the best- it helped me a great deal. I also love the scriptures woven through your story. Thank you so much for sharing this. I wish you nothing but joy. Please understand that the haters are just showing you their own insecurities and pain. Let it go, as the song encourages us to do! May you find every happiness. -Cindy ❤

Another great video from a great channel. Please don't stop. People are afraid to confront the reality that comes to us all but it seems spirituality is much more mainstream now. I've heard rosemary speak on other NDE/death positive channels and her story is remarkable. She is also hilarious. I know she was talking fast and has the story down pat cuz she's told it so many times, I wish she slowed down a bit and let you ask more questions or interject, esp for those whove heard her version before. I'm sure the questions you would've asked would've have been valuable and add a new perspective to her story. Anyway thanks for what you do, we need more death positivity. I've been watching your channel for about 2 years now and everything I get a notification that you've posted a new video I get so excited.

From that story you have told about various people's reactions to your experience, I am not surprised there is such a thing as NDE depression. People also keep quiet about spirits and UFO's, I understand. I agree with the host who said that it's due to fear that their beliefs may be wrong. That is why it is said that one should never discuss religion (or politics).

Hi, your back 😂so cute and funny now ❤️. But yeah 46 year's ago, I wanted a medical explanation. The Doctor said it was halutionations from the anesthesia 😮 end of that part of the story. Even though I didn't believe him. I knew he wasn't going to change his answer.

It seems like Rosemary was healed the moment she felt the depth of the nurse’s grief, recognized when she had felt deep grief herself, and chose not to die so that the nurse would not suffer deeper grief. Did empathy heal Rosemary? Was loss of blood a form of purging the unhealthy tissue? Was she misdiagnosed by the first oncologist? Was it a red flag that she was sent home after her first surgery so cavalierly?

With the Suicide conversation just my little thought when I’ve been in a dark place to have to dump all that onto a loved one for me seems unfair just my thoughts but the biggest issue I’ve come against in reaching out is the strength it would take while already so weak and such a extreme feeling of confusion and anxiety to have to explain everything that got me to the point of needing some help feels so overwhelming. Not sure if that makes any sense

There are hierarchies and degrees of pain and trauma absolutely. Me and my six siblings lost our mother when I was 8 years old, and we were off told by my new step siblings that divorce that they experienced was far more dramatic than are loss having lost our mother..... And they used to teach us this I to make sure that we weren't for one second ungrateful for how good we had it LOL...

This lady is not a Christian and she doesn't know God. Her calling the Father a mother or a she is highly disrespectful. I feel teribly she had a bad experience with her father. But a true encounter with the Jesus will free her from those hurtful feelings. She's not s trustworthy person. I can feel ut in my spirit. I only watch not even 15 minutes of the conversation. I was going to get out but i listened sime more, but i decided to stop when she said she calls the Father a she. That confirmed my feelings. I hope she really have a true encounter with Jesus and repent. She can be happy, free and saved . God bless you all .
