From either the tablet or kiosk they have email and text. Some can even purchase movies. Apparently it's quite expensive so I'm sure it is used in moderation. I know in Tennessee, where I currently reside, there's a kiosk in most county jails. And tablets can be purchased on commissary.

Lori likely was always bad seed, as was her brother, but somewhere along the way, she completely snapped and took him with her. It's heartbreaking for the people that loved her: her children, her former spouses. How terrifying it must have been particularly for Tylee who knew her mother was crazy just as Charles Vallow did. The way Tylee looked the day the police were questioning her mother on the driveway after Charles Vallow's murder? Stone frozen terrified! If the police can't help, where does one turn? Like a trapped prisoner, if she failed her escape or in her attempt to get help, what would happen to her...or the more vulnerable JJ? Those thoughts had to be going through her teenaged head. All she wanted to do was survive by escaping to college. Lori was just never going to let that happen.

And, TBH, as a mom, I honestly don't even know if I want her to come to her senses- if she does, then I know she'll be tortured for the rest of her days, knowing that she broke the most precious bond on earth. It would likely be more humane for her to be allowed to continue in her delusional belief that she actually was "saving" her children from "zombies." I'm quite certain the only reason Nate reported it was to stress it is a "she said" conversation rather than facts in the case because someone else was going to report it. He is enough of a professional to want it out there that anything from her is strictly "she said" rather than fact. She also said nothing of any value so why the "don't use my name" thing is a puzzle. Also, jail records are public (if requested) so it would be easy to find out who was there.
