Update: I found them on Facebook and they seem to have integrated well. Daughter has his last name as her middle name on Facebook and he seems to have stepped up as a grandpa to her child. Love this type of ending ❤️

The daughter is drop dead gorgeous and so charismatic. The father seems like a very nice and humble man. Even though the mother made a huge mistake, her heart was in the right place. She seems like a real genuine woman as well. I wish them all the best going forward.

I didn't know for 12yrs of my daughter's life that she even existed because her mother chose to lie to another man, and she could've easily found me because I was in the military at the time. Men aren't the ones that give birth to the babies, so it is up to the woman to make sure all parties are properly notified.

Because your Dad is the person who teaches a girl how a man is supposed to treat a woman. She learns it by watching how he treats her mother and her. This is why this woman chose a good man for the father of her child, who treats her well. And her child will likely grow up to do the same or if he’s a boy, will treat women well. But if the father isn’t there, just leaves well a little girl grows up thinking that’s normal and on it goes...

I have sympathy for everyone involved. 1. The dad that made this beautiful child the center of his world. Upon reflection, he is the winner here for nurturing his little princess. 2. Mr. Rocquemore who seems to be a standup guy. He was robbed of the opportunity to be a big part of his daughter's life. He had no idea she existed. 3. Mom. She was caught between a rock and a hard place with her two men. The man she stayed with gave her a 28 year reprieve from her conscience. But, as Grandma used to say..."if it doesn't come out in the wash, it will come out in the rinse." Truth has a way of revealing itself. Now Mom has to build new relationships with everyone she withheld the truth from. Court is adjourned.

I do not feel sorry for the mom she lied when she was pregnant about her child having more then one potential father. Thus misleading the man who raised her when he was out of jail, robbing her biological father of 28 years of his child’s life and lying to her daughter the whole time. If she was bold enough to lay down with both men she should have been bold enough to let them know what’s up.

@@smithersonjones DNA is a cheek swab, but that's besides the point, what if you run into a situation where, like this one, the mother preferred to stay with the good father? They know baby's not his, but she loves him to death. Do they tell her? If this mom knew she still would never have told the daughter. Unsolved mysteries often go unsolved because of the lack of evidence left behind, including DNA. It's actually pretty rare that investigators find DNA and can't match it. Anyway, I think if you need a license to fish, you certainly should need one to have a baby. I don't think that's enforceable, though.

This was a sad beautiful episode!! I especially love that there was no screaming, cursing, disrespectfulness, and hatefulness!! She was still blessed with a father who loved and raised her with love and care!! She was still a daddy’s girl even though her biological father was not there!! Yes they were. Teenage pregnancy was extremely high back then. A friend of mine had a baby in high school and told two different boys they were the father. I’m just like why have the baby? I vividly remember planned parenthood taking appointments. 😩😩

Same here, but at 19, I kept asking her why I don't appear in the family registry with my sister and brothers. She lied about everything. I called aunt and uncle people that was related to me, and I was forced to believe that I was Arab while I was european. This video is like the most respectable one I have watched. It is a shame that so much time went by for the men and the daughter. The man that is the father must feel he was robbed out of being in her life. The man that has always been the daddy to her has to feel an empty hole in his whole being. And the daughter, she has had her memories forever tarnished about who she had always knows as her Dad and now must try to work out a great big dynamic situation of having the daddy and the father but not the same person. I read the comment about how they have been working things out as a whole. That is good.

The daughter looks exactly like her biological father. Her Mom should be commended for being honest, in letting her know the truth after all those years. I believe this act of revelation, was not an easy thing for the mother to do, but she did it anyway, based on scripture. The Bible says, "the truth shall make you free," John 8: 31-32, (KJV). I believe with all my heart, that overtime, the relationship will improve greatly - between the Mother, Father, and Daughter - GOD being their helper.
