The last two are very special: dismissals only women get, attributing their views to seeking male approval or unanalyzed self-hatred when maybe, just maybe, they just see the world differently? When I first discovered Shoe On Head, I admit I was put off a bit. (And the negative thumbnails I saw of others saying she’s bad, unfortunately made it worse.) however, now that I’m actively following creators like Nux Taku, I think it’s about time I give her another shot since I’ve gotten more stronger with dealing with my emotions. (I’m still not perfect, but I can recognize when I’m feeling stressed and when I need to just ignore all the drama and stuff! In fact I’m working on making that new mentality my main mentality alongside stuff like, innocent until proven guilty; don’t jump to conclusions; be there for others when they need it, but wait until all the info is out; not my circus, not my monkeys and above all…relax!)

Shoe on head is a leftover of the Feminist bashing era we had a few years ago. It was a movement against the 'woke mob' and the trend of censorship. Unfortunately, most of the champions of this movement revealed themselves to be sexist, racist or somehow bigoted. (Sargon of Akard for example).@@drewo.127 There are notable exceptions. Shoeonhead for one. The Amazing Atheist never really gave a shit about the feminist part, only the censorship part, and he bashes wrongdoings on all sides. Thunderfoot realised what happened to the community and just hard focused on science content as soon as the colours of the movement were revealed.

women aren't ok, men aren't ok, modern culture is an absolute nightmare and mostly to blame, but we as individuals can choose to be better and treat both our loved ones as well as strangers with the love and respect we'd like others to give to us. It takes effort, but its so worth it.

My personal theory is simply we're all rampaging idiots in some respect. There's a reason a number of cruise lines have a crossout sign telling future passengers not to do the Gangnam Style dance on top of the safety rails. >.>

Not so much anymore. Culture is being actively "managed" by no shortage of government and corporate goons, specifically in ways that benefit THEM at the cost of pretty much everyone else. It's far more complicated than "everyday people have to do better" because that isn't nearly enough anymore, you have to also address the underlying systems MAKING people worse because they are ususlly run by the most greedy and sociopathic among us.

Doesn't take sociopathy to make the disgustingly rich soft and panicky. Humans and primates as a whole notoriously are freaked out by new things they don't understand, things that are different, or anything they are used to that gets changed. Primates are creatures of habit, and unfortunately I doubt that instinct will die anytime soon. 😕

@@drewo.127 I will warn you it is not for the faint of heart. Despite that fact I'd recommend watching the 1997 anime, it's just made much better overall than the attempt made in 2016 which just can't live up to the former. Tho keep in mind the animations we have, only tell a small fragment of the full story of Berserk. The manga has many chapters beyond this, and still hasn't reached its end to my knowledge. It'll break your heart and soul many times, but it's a story worth witnessing regardless.

9 out of 10 times when someone in an already established relationship/Marriage asks for an open marriage, its because they cheated (either physically or emotionally) and don't want to feel guilty about it; and the same amount of times it always backfires, either the partner finds someone they can move on to or they ask to end the relationship/divorce and they are 100% in the right to do so.

I think it's usually more that they think they have options and feel like they're wasting them, but they aren't _quite_ a bad enough person to say "fuck it" and cheat. The frequency at which people who suggest open relationships are shocked at how much more action their partner is getting than them is a pretty big indicator that they were only focused on all the people they think _they_ would get to fuck by opening the relationship rather than the actual outcome of opening the relationship.

Being attracted to or loving someone else is one thing, but losing someone who you still care about or drastically changing your life is a lot to deal with. I've never had such problems, but I feel it's a lot more complicated and harder to deal with than people think. There's also people I've met who just don't care, but those are usually people who have nothing to lose.

Nux, my partner does the same thing in giving me options. For me, it's because I take care of so much that if I'm asked what to eat, I either have a snap answer based on a craving or I stare off into space due to decision fatigue. So he'll give me three options he can't decide on and I'll pick from that. Picking where to go can totally be a team effort.

If more than one person wants a piece of property, that piece of property's value goes up. Why they treat themselves as property is an entirely different conversation, but once you figure out that they instinctively view themselves as property and men as their owners, so many other things start to fall into place.

@zdub93 no I saw that but she also released a response to that, also come on, "I lived a mile away they could have walked to my house any time" is not a good excuse be a dad make the effort. Also, "all my kids turned out successful so i must be a good dad" is also not an excuse. But even if you believe his story completely and think she is lying 100% because I don't know why because she is a woman or something. Than still he admits she may have been fed lies by her mother about her dad, first of all means her dad was not in her life enough to combat those lies but also still doesn't disregard her feelings. As a child even if they were lies from her mom she still felt abandoned by him and she probably has some actual trauma from that.

It usually end because the wife gets sad for a while and then gets more action than them. Bonus if the coworker they wanted to sleep with rejected them.
