@@backup407 thats literally my entire point Pearl who is a WHITE women is speaking on behalf of ALL WOMEN and says that women don’t have barriers in the work industries. A woman of color is a woman of color, she cannot just strip her skin and say I’m JUST a woman . There is intersectionality when it comes to sexism. Pearl is a white women if she feel thats WHITE women who are privileged have all barriers removed she needs to speak on behalf of WHITE WOMEN, she cannot speak on behalf of every single women in the America or the western world. To say all women have had barriers removed is ASININE, and denies systemic racism affects women of color. The crowns act was a law that was put into place to not discriminate against natural hairstyles, black women were not being jobs because of the natural hair which grew out of their hair. Thats would be a barrier girl that women of color face. Shall I name more barriers. And you being biracial and having a black dad makes a lot of sense now.

In Iran there women started a revolution on the right of equal trestment. Now that is feminism. The complaining about every tiny difference between man and women on the other hand is not feminism to me, because man could start to complain that education is not giving them as good rates as for women, they are not respecting the more active boys, men could enforce quotes for university (more women is getting diploma AFAIK), women should participate in war, at the same level, etc... But I do not believe in these. I think we humans have to accept that we are not totally the same, and equality does not mean we have to measure in each and every way ours to others just because we can. Also feminism is much more the topic of the urban intellects, and in countryside people have different problems, and I am not sure there freedomfighters are totally aware of that.

HA! This wasn't a feminist panel. This was a panel on intersectionalism. Most of these women cared more about the OTHER physical attributes in their lives (skin color, disability, etc.) than they did about how their female parts effect them in the world. A guy who's disabled faces the same disability related challenges as the disabled woman, but he doesn't experience the same female related challenges that she faces. A black man faces the same racism issues that the black woman faces, but he doesn't experience the same female-related issues that she does. ALL THESE WOMEN (well, not the 2 dudes on the panel) KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO EXPERIENCE LIFE AS A FEMALE! But those intersectional champions simply could not realize that's what this discussion as supposed to be about. Terrible job, Vice.

I disagree with it‘s righteousness in the 40‘s. Men fought and died, women survived, therefore had no say over political decisions, directly affected male lives. Nothing was equal about it, still everyone agreed with it. Feminism (as the meaning equal rights and opportunity’s) causes fairness when the strengths of both genders don’t have to be played out in order to survive. The more peace the more feminist society can become, just never at 100%.

Call me a turf all you want (not that I am saying you are or are not) but biological woman deserve more rights to speak on womanhood then someone in every way except their perception is a male. Imagine telling someone who is black and someone who identifies as black that that person who identifies that way has as much right to speak on black experience as the actual black person? Instead of recommending a video why don't you actually engage with your own defense

@@edenbuyno7268 Well the video has a lot to say, but not directly on who's voice deserves to be heard more. I think both should be heard and respected individually and equally. Both are human beings and both deserve empathy. And the video goes partially into that, but it covers a loooooooottt more. Just watch at least the first 30 minutes at least, it gets into some interesting perspectives.
