Nah. Men get mad when we women say that we don't need a man because that means that we can and will walk away at any time. If a woman needs a man, where is she going? She will put up with anything just to have him. Men have had a good thing going for centuries and they aren't willing to give it up. The power dynamic has shifted and they are pissed.

Oh wow!! This is exactly what I’ve been saying for so long. If men would just learn how to be hardworking responsible adults, they would be happier, healthier, and even better partners (should they choose to be in a relationship). They are the reason why being a man is so “hard”; they do it to themselves. Honestly they are truly their own worst enemies.

Teaching my son to not need a woman but to be a partner. He can cook, clean, and do laundry. He listens and is empathetic. I'm a proud mama.

I've survived this life on my own for forty years. Every time I tried to invite a man into my life... Things got very bad fast. When I became single.. My life just improved. Now I spend my free time talking to my friends about how awful their lives are because of men. 🤷‍♀️

I like to say that men priced themselves out of the market. They showed women just how unreliable, and sometimes even dangerous, they are so we made alternate, more stable plans and now their feefees are hurt.

Since there are way more men building and fixing stuff, etc., I do need men to do the things I can't or won't do myself. However, I can pay them to do these things, and be done with them. It doesn't mean I need to sleep with, date or marry them for that, just like they say they can pay for what women do for them. That's fine. And as far as protection goes, my taxes pay for police and homeland security just like the men they also protect.

Also as a woman who's been a mechanic for over 20 yrs I'm the only woman mechanic I know. Everyone serves a purpose whether that purpose effects u or not.

I think that commentator is right (I follow her, her name is Therese I believe.) Men’s whole identity as men is in opposition to- and superiority over- women. Women have pushed forward in this world and fought hard for our rights and independence, and men have not done their part to defeat the patriarch in their own heads, and as a result, they are getting left behind. If they do the work, sincerely, they can be allies. But if they don’t, they’re not going to be partnered and they are going to have an identity crisis, we already see it happening. They need to start by reading The Will to Change by bell hooks and go from there.

The single life supports this. Every woman is not called to experience the intimate gift 🎁 of marriage. But that does not excuse women from needing men. Our Creator purposely constructed the male and female relationship around healthy things like fellowship, communion, community, and friendship. Men forerun the constructive building processes in this earth. Women were not created to express life without men. Men and women compliment each other's blueprint. And they both are purposely designed to pour life into each other. And this kind of interaction is not restricted to intimate relationships. Men and women are built to pour life into each other in the very worlds they engage in on a daily basis. So a woman being able to survive is fine, but she will always be in a position where she will have some form of dependency upon not only her Creator, but upon the man as well. As I have shared in the past, when women interact with worlds like education (while pursuing degrees and scholar education) and with worlds like business, entrepreneurship, medical and health, corporate world, judicial systems, law enforcement, military, auto repair, and so forth, the woman engages in a disposition that requires her to exercise some form of dependency on the man. I take it further. In a woman's personal environment, such as the personal environment of her own home, she will most likely need support and help with the maintenance part of her home from a man. Whether that be plumbing, electrical or technical maintenance, or roofing, and other forms of industrious repairs. There will be things in a woman's life that will place a demand on her need for a man's expertise, skills, gifts, talents, education, and intelligence. The woman will never outrank a man in his disposition as a heavily built being. The woman is designed to commune a language that expresses the beauty of her graceful design and the valour of a man's uniqueness in his masculinity. We as women are designed to pour life into the value of the man and into each other. We are not suppose to place ourselves in positions that belittle and low rate the man's worth, especially in the very earth he was chosen by his Creator to forerun in his excellence as a life changing model before the male and female. We need each other. There is no way around that truth. Even a single women with everything going for her will always find herself engaging in some way form or fashion with the help and assistance from a man.
