Both husband wife should leave home after marriage or both families should shift together. It will finish system of dowry and alimony. Even in foreign countries both husband and wife leave home after marriage and take care of their parents too. If a man will leave his parents home, he won't have any property and he can't even ask dowry nor she will file alimony. Both will earn and work hard, pay rent and live in new apartment. That will solve 90% of problems in India.

The thing that is most disturbing is that, dowry system is so much integrated to our society that no one can guarantee that if the parents raise their daughter spending all and not keep anything for dowry...then the future groom will not take dowry. So the irony is ,if daughter is successful she will marry someone compared to her standard ,a natural decision, but then the parents wont be able to sustain the higher dowry demand of the groom..........

I would say every men should consider about women empowerment. 33% or 50% will be discussed and applied once both are mutually agreed. Both genders should treat others wisely. World will survive only both the poles are mutually inclusive. I hope things will change in coming days... Dreams are often require tough stand, otherwise it will just stay as a dream though !!

Marriage is very big problem for the girls who wanted to study.... It's just due to the society who wants every girl to get marry, just make food, get children's and just be slaves of her husband and her children. And it's the damn reality which we need to think about. Married woman is only given the right to decide which food item to prepare. And it's not about some families, Maximum married women's face this.

And being a social worker,( I talk to people to get different ideology) most of the women said it would have been better if they got their education and got to see themselves where they always wanted to be, also some mothers think that it would have been better if they were a working mom or educated mom so that they can teach their children what is right....
