I would feel guilty, too. I wouldn’t mind buying my kids designer stuff if I could afford them, but the thought of an expensive piece of clothing/ pair of shoes not fitting them in one or two years makes me feel really guilty. Like who’s gonna want them? They don’t worth much once used, especially the children ones. At least if the designer stuff are for an adult/ young adult, I know they will fit for years to come... thereby justifying the high price tag to some extent. Even if I was REALLY rich, I would still feel guilty about it. It’s such a waste!

I'm not sure how young you are, but if you are...you have time and opportunity to build up yourself. Ppl will let you down. Its crazy that women making just over six figures and to some degree somewhat over 200K still feel guilty about buying makeup. Like I'm genuinely surprised bc it's such a huge aspect in the life of the modern woman. It's essentially an essential. Right near 250K+, that goes out the window. Now given that's FU money, I'm pretty sure male counterparts wouldn't feel guilty of the equivalent (if there is one) after making six figures. That's just such a surprise that 250K+ is where the line is drawn, I'd expect it to be much lower.
