@kudie i really don't know what you exactly mean by your comment , but no matter what it does mean i just want to make it clear that she never lost , she just won something far beyond the understanding of anyone who is only looking at corrupted numbers or stupid rankings which is figure skating fans' hearts ,love and pure admiration .She is the perfect balance between the athleticism and the artistry that the sport requires. And not to mention the fact that not only koreans are not admiting it , but every human being with active brancells.

@kudie who said that we need her in 2020 ,and I don't think that being Asian would be enough to make you win many gold medals and be an Olympic champion as well . I'm not saying that she is the best , but she was the best when it was her time .

@kudie Are you dumb??? Her technique was flawless and her artistry then is on par with some of the skaters today. And this isn't for political correctness. MILLIONS of people were shocked by this when the results came out and still are. Also just look at the facts. This competition took place in Russia, with one of the judges in this competition having been suspended in 1998 for "fixing" an ice dance competition and another judge being the wife of the general director of the Russian skating federation, and the scoring system was anonymous. In addition, how does one skater beat her seasons best score recorded just the month before by over 18 points in this competition without placing harder jumps, which is the only way to drastically improve your score if everything else is perfect. It's a pretty simple conclusion once you see all the evidence: Yuna Kim (and Carolina Kostner) were underscored and Adelina Sotnikova was overscored in order to afford the RUSSIAN to win in RUSSIA. Get your head out of your ass and stop with the "political correctness" excuse for the misconduct that clearly took place. I’m the opposite. I’m just extremely tired of Russian figure skaters so. I’m not THAT tired of Japanese figure skaters though there is never seem to be any real American influences.

@@anneprovarf3583 I’m Polish American. Tara Lipinski is one figure skater I admire the most and who is Polish American as well. I am only tired of Russian figure skaters just after Evgenia took the place of previous skaters who I admire like Irina Slutskaya. Also you must know that Evgenia’s facial expressions is overbearing., compared to our Sasha, who no longer competes. I do like Sasha Trusova better, since she’s quite the fierce competitor but when Yulia Lipnitskaya was the most intriguing figure skater, she was spectacular before she became overwhelmed by all the media attention she was receiving so when she disappeared, I lost interest in the figure skating world when it’s in regards to finding that inspiration for ladies to look up to. Mao Asada is the only Japanese figure skater who I liked for her beautiful spirals and especially for her signature personality.
