It's not as easy as it looks for a woman to report an assault because a lot of times nobody cares or believes women the only time the police will get involved they told me is if he chokes you to the point of death then they might charge for you or if your q Minor and when you don't have a witness it makes it more complicated because they don't care if women get slapped around here or not the government only protects men.

I dated a guy met him out in the world no apps.(I’m mentioning this because with or without apps, people will try and fool you). One day he wanted to chill, and I couldn’t I made plans with my family. He went to the bar got drunk, started arguing with me without provocation. I told him to sober up and then we’ll talk tomorrow, I said I’m going home soon to walk my dogs cya soon. He text back “I’m going to kill your dogs, all you do is walk them dogs, when they’re gone you’ll have more time for me.” I drove home picked up my dogs, drove to the police station, they called him and told him to never contact me again. After that, I blocked him. Ladies be careful be safe. Thank you for all the love, my dogs didn’t even like him, that should have been my 🚩 *Dating Apps are a new thing agreed, serial killers are not, I started dating in the apps era. That’s why I said, maybe it would have been better, if I met guys organically. I didn’t mean to offend anyone’s, grandmother or mother.

I'm not even surprised that there were men in the comments defending the guys actions saying that he was just "friendly." they will defend any man, no matter how heinous, or how terrrible, especially if the victim in the situation is a woman. Just a few days ago I saw a video of a barista helping to escort an underage girl from the cafe after she was creepily hit on by a much older man. And to no ones surprise, there werre men in the comments actively defending the guys, saying how dare you embarass him and label him as a creep, and this is why men dont ask women out in ublic anymore. And all that told me was that men would rather protect a man's ego than to protect a child from rape.

My friends and I are heavily armed with not just one weapon but multiple weapons. In my home, I have several revolvers strategically placed in random spots to include my garage. In addition, I have door jams, a machete, a bat, mace, and straight razors. I also keep a golf putter and bear/wasp spray in both of my vehicles. Ladies, instead of going to paint and sip, take a weekend once a month with your girls to learn how to aim and shoot. Learn the gun laws in your state and stay safe. My friend is now resting in a cold, dark grave for a year and three months because her abusive husband took her life, shot it out with the police, and left her daughter an orphan.

SO TRUE! I can vouch for that; but a very good point you made; a lot of women don’t see it as assault; either they’re being delusional because it’s easier to accept and deal with or they genuinely feel as though SA can’t happen since they’re in a relationship and intimate with the person. We need to start calling it what it is.

That’s why they call it “date (g)rape”. It happens fairly frequently. I had a boyfriend try that once, way back (a long, long time ago) when I was a nice virginal young thing. We had been dating for a while, and I thought I was in love. One night he decided he was going to get his “goodies”, but I said no. He tried real hard (and he was a pretty big guy), but I had decided no means no, and he didn’t know he was dating a scrapper. I started punching him, and when he kept trying, I hit him hard, in the face and he gave up. (I’m sure he didn’t want his beautiful face damaged, lol). It wasn’t love in my heart anymore. I told him to never call me again and he didn’t. Nowadays, though, a lot of guys will just beat you up. Times were different (mostly) back then.

I have two bits of advice. The first is to make sure that any pepper spray you have is not actually spray but rather gel. Gel will give you more precision in spraying and less will get into the air/breeze and come back into your own face. Secondly, Every woman should build up some resistance to pepper spray. This is just in case some of the spray.Does indeed come back to your face when you spray, Or any event that a man attacks you with it. This is a strategy well known among indian and pakistani women. Start with quite mild peppers. Poblano is good to start. Make chiles rellenos for dinner and save the seeds to place in a small bowl with a paper towel And just enough water to wet the seeds and the paper towel. Then try rubbing this on your eyes gently. It's a very mild sting because the pepper is so mild. You can later graduate to serranos, jalapeños and finally thai. That way you can be confident that an attack of spray will not be debilitating to you.

Ladies our safety is our personal responsibility. Please be aware of your surroundings, and do what you can to protect yourself. I had a college friend who went to a rave by herself, got black out drunk and passed out. She said it wasn’t a big deal. I was concerned and asked her how she knows that no one did anything while she was passed out, and she had this look on her face like she knew she did something incredibly irresponsible, but was adamant that people can be trusted and no one would do anything bad... raves are known for a plethora of dangerous things happening to women which is why women are usually told to go with a group of trusted friends. @@TheOriginalScorpioBelle my main point is we don’t know the details of their situation and with this economy it’s entirely possible they met when they were both financially secure then the shitty economy hit them over the head. Many ‘successful’ people had a homeless patch. If you want to throw someone away who proved they have the same values simply because they came upon hard times then you don’t need to be in a relationship. BUT what do I know, I’ve only been married about 20 years and started out upper middle class but I’m struggling in this economy🤷🏽‍♀️ Guess I should throw my man away cuz he’s not the top capitalist.

SEE. this is exactly why I moved from my apartment too. The guy across the hall would always know when I got home from work no matter what time I got home he would come out in the hall talking to me. Then he proceeded to tell me my patterns and schedule and I was like YUP Time to go. Another weird guy moved in the apartment underneath me and comes up one day knocking on my door saying "i can hear you walking" I said OKAAY and then he says "im just a guy , who likes women" I said DOUBLE YUP its time to go. I don't play with these men out here. Also Ive been SA'ed before also and in that moment I just tried to stay calm and not get that man more riled up and upset cause he literally could have killed me. People will tell you to just say no or be mean YEAH that doesn't work with men. Its easy to say to do something when you dont experience it.

Yeah, I'd typed a commented but deleted it, but I mentioned that African men have a different energy to African-American men. They're beyond persistent and domineering about it. I've had so many experiences, even when they have a partner. With African-American men, they'll give up after a short bit, usually, even if they get mad and insult you. But African men will not. They will keep going and asking you hella personal questions. Just will flat out ask you where you live, etc. I had to tell one dude that I don't know him to be answering those questions.

Asking a woman on her own in your car to see her again can easily be interpreted as creepy, she can’t just walk away in that situation after all. If he had asked her once she had exited out of the car would have been more understanding of women’s safety but ignoring the fact she had a boyfriend is always a no no.

I don't know if you know this, but a person's emotions/intent absolutely can be read in their eyes. It's called "body language." If a MF has me locked in his car until I take his number, staring me down with his lustful, possibly violent (again, child-locked door) thoughts in his eyes, that's some damage, bruh. Sometimes I wish more men would step forward about their experiences regarding this thing happening to them from other men. Because I saw a true crime case where a guy got away with over 100 r/pes of men he FILMED, in part, because no one came forward to say what happened to them until one guy who nearly had his life taken. If more men came out with stories of their own experiences, maybe they could grow some empathy and, by extension, the law in general. Because y'all don't care (women actually do) when it's a female predator of teen boys. Let's switch it up to something y'all actually fear and see if that empathy don't kick in.
