@Andrew Edmonds um, no. The rise of feminist always signifies the end of a civilization. It's happened before. Aprox 100 years before the fall of the empire, feminism rears its ugly head. So society will fail, creating hard times. Hard times create hard men. It's a whole cycle. Been happening since...forever. Also you can't wipe masculine men out. Always new ones being born. Masculinity is mostly genetic. You can't get rid of mens traits without fully getting rid of men.

@Videoms It depends. It may have been avoidable, that's probably true. It might have been completely normal and safe to do so at the time. Back in the day people didn't lock their doors, they didn't have to. Crime wasn't as rampant as it is now. Sure there was still crime just not as bad and ramped up as it is now. We don't know how Gotham was at the time. I get it's a fictional place and it's not real. I get that but fiction has bits and pieces of reality written and shown in it from time to time. After all artists and creators of fiction tend to base their worlds with a bit of reality they experience or have seen out in the world. My point being, is that maybe Gotham was a somewhat safer place and crime wasn't as rampant, maybe Bruce Wayne's parents have walked down that alley way time and time again and it was always safe and perfectly fine to do so. This could have been a horrible aweful bad luck of the draw. People can walk down a street and be safe 99% of the time but that one 1% of time they walk down the street could end disastrously for them. It could've been easily prevented, maybe, I find that argument a bit debatable. This could've have been just an unfortunate circumstances that maybe couldn't have been avoided at all.

I don't understand this idea of "toxic-masculinity" because it seems that everything that a woman doesn't understand is seen as toxic. For example, I was hanging out with a group of friends and made a joke about how when you're a guy if you can't sock your buddy and still hang out then you aren't really friends, and a woman in the group said "that's toxic, why would you want to hurt someone?" and I couldn't even explain it to her because of how instinctual it is for men to hit each other, for us fighting isn't always a hugely personal thing. Or how women don't understand that when men need to talk about our emotions, we seek out another man whom we have huge respect for and talk to him instead of our girlfriend, and to us that's just how we do things, but for these feminist types, it's an insult.
@mrsanity

Most women boggle at how much we take the piss out of each other as a bonding exercise, and our ability to get over fallings out quickly and with little to no lasting malice. "Live like you're not the most powerful person in the room" Firstly, what does that even mean, by what metrics are we measuring "power", and secondly, if you don't feel "powerful" in a situation as mundane as just being at work, that's on *you* . Yeah sure, outside factors play a role, but ultimately you give or remove your own "power". What I mean is, you need to have a fundamental understanding of who *you* are at your core. If you feel you have little value, or no self worth, everyone else around you picks up on that, and some will take advantage of it. Be a rock in an ocean, battered by furious waves, withstanding the assaults of the storms, and yet remaining steadfast and true. Now, that doesn't mean you have to be an unfeeling, unflinching stoic "badass". The more you understand your rock, your island, the better you can face those feelings, process them, and weather the storm and come through with a better understanding. The universe is never going to handle you with safety gloves.

No man has, certainly no man who isn't a complete dick. This is my problem with "toxic masculinity", the proponents of the concept find isolated, certainly atypical, behaviours and attribute it to male behaviour in general. Why can't they say "toxic behaviour"? Because then they can't blame men.
@g_regulator1695
@g_regulator1695 3 жыл бұрын
@@allahspreadshate6486 because if they classify it as toxic behaviour it doesn't pit men against women. The idea of critical race theory and third wave feminism is to divide us into groups and have us fight each other. If were fighting each other were not focused on the people that truly oppress us, the reality is class warfare has and always will be the biggest issue. Look at the history of critical race theory. It began in universities and was never taken seriously because it doesn't make sense intellectually, but during the occupy wall street movement, sinister groups paid critical race theory activists to infiltrate the movement, thus creating division in the movent, and the media amplified it and spread it to greater society. The first occupy wall street movent scared the centers of institutional power. They don't like the idea of us being unified against them, they know if we can get some purchase we will crush them. It's the same with the gamestop rebellion, their painting the retail investors as white supremacists and Trump supporters in an attempt to divide the movement and protect the hedge funds.

I'm glad I grew up with a strong father figure in my life. It's genuinely sad that women think they need revenge against MODERN MEN for the mistakes of PAST MEN. Edit: The mistakes I'm talking about have nothing to do with the inventions, rights, or anything else we have today because of men. I fully agree that men have given us many amazing things and I'm not "bashing" them for that. I'm talking about the fact that, yes, women were IN THE PAST seen as lesser than men and were frequently mistreated by their husbands (not all husbands obviously, there were still good men in the past as well, but it was seen as acceptable to smack your wife or not allow women to have financial freedom). I'm also referring to the fathers and other male family members who were genuine bad people. There are bad men, just like their are bad women. There are also good men and good women. My mom's father was a pedo, and unfortunately she saw all men that way, including my dad. After growing up with her being extremely abusive towards him, it was difficult to see women in a good light. But I, and many other hurt people have to remember that it's not okay to blame everyone for the mistakes of some. It's definitely difficult, but it's not fair any of the people who have done nothing wrong.

Then, pursue whatever you want. You'll always have that skill to fall back on and you'll never paint yourself into a financial corner (dead end jobs ~ fast food, generic office work, etc). Work out, doing whatever you want. Doesn't matter. Exercise. You nail those 2 things, *consistently* and you'll be surprised at how well you can do/ will do in pretty much everything.
