FILM DESCRIPTION:
Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

One of the many nuances I really loved about the film is Diana experiencing things we take for granted today. Living on Themyscira for so much of her life - a warrior, a princess, an Amazon- she comes to the world of men to fight a war and protect/save humanity. And throughout her mission, she tastes ice-cream for the first time, has a photograph taken with her new friends/fellow warriors, has her first dance with Steve and sees snow fall from the sky. All the while, Diana’s reactions are delightful & joyous. For all the horrors of war and evil that plagues our world…there is still such wonder to find and cherish in life. And Gal Gadot conveys it all perfectly throughout.

I loved the way this movie was made to seem real. They showed the effects of war on people. They showed the fact that it wasn't just white people who fought in the war. They showed how destroyed the lives were for the victims. It was very good.

This is genuinely a great movie, okay it all falls apart a bit in the third act, but the Diana is such a well rounded character. In trying to impress feminists I think people have forgotten how to write women.

Very true. A super great movie with a weak third act. That was because Warner Bros made them change the script so they could have the big super villain fight scene. Warner Bros almost had them remove the No Man's Land scene too, which would have really wrecked this movie. (Zack Snyder did a great job writing the story for this movie.)
