You're a fantastic storyteller Phil, no wonder you went into making movies. You had me on the edge of my seat as you took us through your journey of making it to Louisville. I loved how you said our wives pick up the flag and take us over the hill. I cant tell you how many hills my wife has taken me over. They are amazing. Last year I got stuck sleeping at an airport after missing our connection trying to head home. So I feel your pain but at least it gets overshadowed by the great Wonderfest experience. And congrats on your well deserved win and recognition of your Dalek. It's a great feeling for sure. Lastly....I love trying out gadgets too. DSPIAE makes a good hand held sander too that works great to take off those nubs from 3D supports. Thanks for sharing. I really did miss seeing you guys but will make it there for sure next year.

Great job on the Dalek build and the anonymous nod to the Phoenix. At 27:10 you mentioned there was one there. That was mine. It was in fact the 3d printed kit from Robert James and not cast resin as you mentioned. Its a really great kit and Robert did a fantastic job. I think you will be pleased with its build up. You'll likely add lights to yours, and I should have done that as well. It might have made it stand out a bit better. Anyway, love the videos. Keep up the great work.

Ooo Phil, you doing the Klingon Bird of Prey? I highly recommend using the Lake Monster hinged wing kit! It really does make the model much more interesting to exhibit. Also, I recommend Keith’s lighting board as well
