No problem. I enjoy my stay in Kokoto, but I find the village a little too flat for my liking. I usually prefer to stay in Pokko village. I've always been fond of winter. :)

I like yukomo too. But kokoto has the fusion guy. Anyway i finished all the village quests so now i only hang out at the camp.

I'm at the end of low rank both offline and online (so don't you dare spoil any new cool bosses that will appear :) ). Loving the game so far, but I'm slightly disappointed that I played so much using adept style. It makes the game so much easier. However, I'm sure it will balance out towards G-rank. So now I prefer to use guilde, and sometimes aerial, using switch axe. What style and weapon do you use? :)

I'm specialised in long swords, I've been using these for over 5 years now and i pretty much mastered it. I also play as the cat for support and fun but i'm not very effective. I personally only use Guild style because in other styles there is always an attack that has been removed. Aerial forces spirit attacks to be airborn which slows me down greatly, bushido cant use spirit attacks at all, making charging a lot harder, leaving only the arts to charge. Warrior(i guess it's adept in your language) is nice but there is no 'come back attack' which i use a lot as both an attack and dodge move. I wont spoil you don't worry, in fact i spoiled myself doing some research on google and that pisses me off. Since I only use LS, i'm crafting them all, the new system makes this a lot harder, i got over 50 and i'm not even G rank. My main problem now is money. How do you make some cash ?

Ah okay, bushido is aerial here in the west and warrior is striker. So in your terms did I find bushido to be too easy to play with. And you can charge up ls (I think) with bushido. I think if you press R when evading at the right moment will charge up your meter (if you hit a monster of course). I often have money problems in monster hunter games as well since I usually makes a lot of weapons (for example in mh3u I made every dual blade). I do believe the easiest way to farm money is to farm bosses at random and sell all of the parts when you finished the quest. It could be any boss since boss parts are worth loads of money in general. :)

@@reen6904yes and no. It’s more over how you want to make it with the very sparse information you are given. Ruins that exist but no explanation as to why and such. You determine why they were there and weave your own story

@@reen6904I believe they are describing the events of “The Great Dragon War” way back before the Hunters Guild and Hunters Laws were established, Humans and Wyverians lived separate lives many thousands of years before the events of the first Monster Hunter game and humans in the games lore, much like humans today IRL, didn’t care too much about the balance of nature and it’s forces and took whatever they needed to survive, not caring about how many monster lives were taken to better their own progression for their humanity. Wyverians tried to warn humans that they needed to stop killing and taking so much from the monster world but they didn’t listen to them or care for the most part. This then led humans to the construction of what they would’ve claimed as their ultimate display of power, but in reality would be their tragic downfall, and lead them to near extinction forcing humans and Wyverians to come together to reform humanity in a more balanced aspect, this structure we only simply know as “The Tower” and it was constructed out of the corpses of hundreds upon thousands of Elder Dragons, the amount of raw geo energy The Tower gave off we can only imagine was so immense it probably would’ve been able to power most cities across the world, but as we know with Monster Hunter, any area or structure that emits that kind of and amount of power only attracts greater threats and powers, therefor it was rumoured that the construction of The Tower is ultimately what caused the first Black Dragon, Fatalis, to be born into the world with nothing but spite towards the humans that ripped the balance of nature and power from IT’S world, and it was here that Fatalis would rally the forces of the Monster Hunter worlds Elder Dragons to retaliate in the events of The Great Dragon War which would nearly drive humans to extinction, and what humans were left in the onslaught would find and beg forgiveness from the Wyverians that tried to warn them so many times, it was then that Hunters Guild and “The Four Swords” or “Hunters Crest” were formed, the four symbols we know all with meanings, the highest symbol representing respect for nature, the left life as a community, the right prosperity from nature, and the bottom represents crafting from nature… and with the formation of the Guild a few small villages were established, where Wyverians and Humans would live together and grow with their world to better understand it and the Monsters that dwelled within its depths, one of those few villages was none other than Kokoto Village, the very beginning of Monster Hunter… I know I’m not 100% accurate to the actual lore here but it’s pieces with a little bit of my own beliefs mixed in, ultimately it’s our own beliefs that we can follow playing through this amazing series as the game gives us info on passed civilizations and ruins of such, but very littler clues on how they collapsed and fell into ruin, you carve your own hunters path and YOU forge their story…
