The name Umuchukwu came as a result of the liberation prayers on the community conducted by late. Fr. Uche Stephen Njoku of Enugu diocese. There the name was changed after series of revelations. Thereafter the light of God began to shine on the land. Read the book by Fr. Njoku called 'The fifth gospel; the gospel according to covenant. The book is about breaking ancestral curses, there he narated how the prayer started, the name change and the liberation thereafter. That young man that said the name change came as a result of exposure from their people in lagos or when their people got educated is ignorant.
