Thank God I had the courage and determination to come up out of the dangerous living and social conditions I grew up in. I knew there was better elsewhere. I made a plan when I was 12 yrs old after my brother was killed in a gang fight. I followed thru on it and never looked back.

Why doesn't the government teach their population to boil water and clean fruits and veggies. To wash their hands and bury their waste? Many diseases could be prevented if people are taught dietary cleanliness. No matter how poor one is, it's possible to keep clean, eat clean and well cooked food. I lived in a poor country and know that many people know little to nothing about the importance of boiling water and other cleanliness vital to stay healthy. Even the Roman's carried waste out of homes and the city through a sewer system over 2500 years or more ago. Yet we still have countries living in the stone age. Why?

@@bscats1 I don't think they assume that they have clean water because they mentioned boiling the water in order to make it usable. Growing enough food is a different matter. They may not be able to grow enough but nevertheless it is possible by using innovation to do so, especially if it is made known to them that it is a matter of life and death survival. Water should also be filtered, which can be as simple as running it through a thick layer of sand and or charcoal. Boiling kills bacteria but does not remove chemical or toxic contamination whereas proper filtering can

You need to spend time in a 3rd world country away from the cruise ship. My husband and I hired a driver to take us from Cairo to Aswan and the driver thought we should go to a camel market first. He didn’t tell us, but what an adventure it was! Then we went to his mud-brick 2 room house, met his wife and 3 little girls, and were fed dates from their date tree. They proudly showed us their string of Christmas tree garland and broken rotary phone. I gave the girls the mirror in my purse; they were beyond delighted. I was ashamed knowing how easy the mirror would be to replace. We’ve had thousands of similar experiences by not being “touristy.”

Many people in the world live happy lives without the western world influence. We in the west can learn so much about what real life is like and how happy people are without being materialistic. Love is so strong if you let it into your life.

Nonsense. Materialism is not a singular or unique trait of the West. In fact the West is more religious then in countries like China, where materialism is treated like a religion itself. Many of the religious practices and festivals in China are centered around material prosperity.

@jb6712
@jb6712 Жыл бұрын
From what I've read about them, the architectural firm that designed the buildings did so in a manner that allows for immense weight. The walls have an underlying super structure that can take the weight of the trees and plants---there's a weight limit that hasn't even been reached yet, and likely never will be because the plants are cut back and maintained very well. It isn't two towers that were already there and someone decided to just toss out a few seedlings to see what would grow.

The post office would have a hard time keeping track of the address LOL. I would love to see how he decorated the inside of his house. In fact I'd like to see how most of these homes were decorated.

💐Peace Be With You💐 We invite you to the Religion of Islam, as you may find peace. 💎ISLAAM💎 is the latest revelation from The Almighty Allah (God) for all the Humankinds worldwide. If you die as a non-Muslim, according to Holy Qur'an There'd be an Eternal punishment in the hell fire for other religions will be invalid and it'll have consequences, since 1400 years, The Rules Apply.😊 Suggestion: Do Some Research About All the Religions, And Then Choose The Religion that makes most sense. 🖊❤❤ Welcome To ISLAAM 💚💐
