WONDOM JAB5 is a 4CH 100W audio amplifier board with Bluetooth V5.0 and ADAU1701 DSP. Besides SigmaStudio programming, JAB5 supports PC UI control after connection with programmer ICP5. In this video, we will show you how to upgrade firmware of ICP5 through a simple click and make demonstration on PC UI control of an audio 2.1 system. Wish this video could be helpful to you.

Can this be used on the Dayton branded amps such as the kabd4100? I like the real-time adjustment feature.

hi, does this software also work with apm2 and icp1? I tried in every way to make everything work with sigma studio, but I can't get them to communicate!

Hello. This PC UI doesn't work with APM2. When connecting with ICP1, APM2 only supports SigmaStudio Programming. As for the problems you have with programming, please kindly send some videos or pictures showing the connection and operation, so that we can pinpoint the problem and solve it for you. Hello. I have two JAB5 DSP/AMP modules. Wondom states that it can be connected together to get 8ch of outputs. For now I have achieved that these amps play same BT signal together. They are connected with wires needed to cascade them. The problem is that I can't find a way, how to configure them both at the same time in sigma studio. For now I can do that just by connecting ICP5 to one dsp, make changes, than connect that ICP5 to another and again do some changes. I have 3way in my car and because of that I can even do proper time alignments. Please tell me if there are any other options. Is it possible to configure these dsp's together in one time. Like connect two ADAU1701 with different inputs and outputs or something and use one project file in sigma for tuning.

Hello. Please note that one ICP5 can control one DSP at a time. It's suggested to modify the DSP program of master mode JAB5 at first, and then modify the DSP program of slave mode JAB5.

my jab5 with ICP5, when I turn it off and on it makes a popping sound, without music playing, the speakers jump. without ICP5 this does not happen. does that happen? and what to do to resolve?

Ever since i updated the icp5 firmware on the new miumax for the jab5, i can no longer save modifications to the eeprom on sigma studio.. it loads but when i cut the power it returns to the previous state.. already tryied to upgrade icp5 again but same thing happens

@@fabiuh991 …I have tried all the possible combinations, but it simply doesn’t work. I am also having a problem with not working volume when programed. Volume works again when reseted with power. …strange!!!

hey i think i managed to overcame the issue. hold sw3 on the icp5 and reflash it using daytonaudio kpxdsp. try it and tell me if it worked for you

I have a JAB4 (2.1 setup) and ICP5 - everything connects fine to PC UI but as soon as I change any parameters I get a very loud popping sound from the subwoofer channel. The potentiometers for the woofer (gain and crossover) are loosing functionality after that popping sound...kinda like as they disconnect from the JAB4. Strange is that nothing works with PC UI even though firmware update worked flawless...JAB4 connects to PC UI but that's it. I have tried both drivers that I found for the ICP5 - Win10_driver and WinDriver630 - no difference between the drivers...just a different name. Anybody else had an issue like this ? I am afraid to use PC UI as I don't wanna burn up my woofer....

I have a jab5 with icp5, when I connect to the pc ui and move any control, a noise is heard and the jab5 turns off and on again ..... any suggestions? I've tried everything and no luck...

Hi. Please connect according to the steps in this video. After recognition, you can use mute/unmute function to discover the corresponding relationship between channels and speakers.

Hi, I was just about to start programming my JAB3 but when I try to download MIUMAX for JAB3 i get a blank page 404 error. I can't download any software to update the bootloader. Also the website seems different then a few weeks ago...

wow. is it possible to change the bt pairing name? a few years ago i had to solder breakout pins on the bt modul to write my own pairing name.

JAB5 and other JAB boards majorly use Qualcomm QCC3034 Bluetooth chipset, while they don't have a protocol for us to modify the Bluetooth Paring name, our JAB7 will be released soon, then we will support BT pairing name modification from PC UI.

If you are using PC UI control, data will be saved in ICP5, that means you need to keep ICP5 connected to JAB5 for the effect. Have a nice day~

@@WONDOMAudio That is unfortunate. I wouldn't want to have to invest in an ICP5 for every project. I was hoping I could program the system and disconnect everything but the amplifier board. Is there no way to save the program onto the amplifier board?

Master volume (gain of ch 1 & 2) 2. Balance (fade between ch 1 & 2) 3. Treble (High frequency boost/ cut) 4. Bass (Low frequency boost/ cut) Thank you

Hello. This PC UI and SigmaStudio can both be used for audio control of JAB5. If you find SigmaStudio too complex, you can try this PC UI, which provides various functions as Phase, Delay, Filter, EQ, Gain and so on, meeting most requirements of audio adjustments. In addition, it's a real-time adjustment tool, very intuitive.

For now, we have released Miumax APP for APM2 and JAB3. APM2 and JAB3 can support APP control after connection with ICP3, which is achieved through the integrated Bluetooth BLE. APP for other products is in development.

@@WONDOMAudio It has been 9 months. Any update on the mobile app or bluetooth support? Since the board must be installed within the project, and the PC needs a USB connection, it is a big restriction as we need to extend the USB interface to the external of the cabinet - not ideal at all.

Hello, my name is Andre, I live in Brazil. I am a manufacturer of high power class AB / H amplifiers, from 500w RMS at a 4ohm load, to 3000w rms, at a 2ohm load, and I would like to add DSP to them. I would like to know if it is possible to create a PC UI control, where I can just adjust the input gain, EQ, input signal limiter and output delay for each of the 4 outputs of this board, (ADAU1701 AUDIO DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSOR KERNEL BOARD - APM2[658])? so that this board would only be adjusted when assembling the amplifier and not adjusted in the future, being a "factory" adjustment, let's say, I would like to test your product, and if it works correctly, I would consider incorporating it into my final product. it would be possible? Eu estou pensando em adquirir esse amplificador jab5 e a icp5 para programar o DSP do amplificador. Vou montar uma caixa bluetooth portátil estilo as JBL partybox.

@@venanss5270 salve! mandei ja... eu achei muito bacana esse dsp deles... mas como nao manjo nada de programação, fica dificil... porem, eles venderiam muito se pensassem nesse lado. e pra nos que montamos amplificadores de alta potencia, embarcar um DSP, seria otimo.

Will have TPA3255 soon, while we have even better solution, it is a FDA802 with Boost circuit built in, and a TAS5760 2x55W as tweeter driver, it will be released immediately.
