It's incredible how natural the chemistry is between Kremy and Gideon. Like, I genuinely assumed that they were married from the start of the series and that was why Gideon was also on the hook for Kremy's debt. Imagine my surprise when the wedding happened during the campaign!

Kind of a will they won't they sort of deal! It is made very clear that Kremy (the lizardfolk/alligator) very blatantly has a crush on Gideon (the fire genasi). Like VERY clear. Gideon is more of a confusing case, but I think he's also been hinted at returning the feelings. He's just a bit complicated. They both deny their relationship being romantic in any way/deny being into one another. Another funny layer to it is that they're also both canonically married to one another (and 3 pixies)...not exactly because they wanted to, but just a lot of events and fey tricks that led them to an accidental marriage. Honestly there's just A LOT to them lol. So basically, yes, it's a very canonical little romance, and not just a fan ship! :-)
