(wood turning) $$ making money with scrap wood

Great project for a gift or make money. Another scrap wood project. I found this piece of wood the other day at the park. I didn't know if it was to rotten to turn. It ended up being ok. I turned a nice set. It's a vase and tealight set. This would make a great gift or craft show item. I sanded it to 400 grit and finished them with friction polish.

I think a wood lathe is the easiest way to make some extra cash as long as the projects don't get too elaborate with expensive wood.

I agree, most of the wood I use is free and I like to stay with projects usually don't take more than about 15 minutes.
