Awesome carving!!!! I just went to a carving roundup on June 1st and I actually carved your chicken design😁. They had already cut the general shape out on the bandsaw, so there wasn't that much to carve. The instructer was surprised that I didn't need that much instruction on how to carve it, I told him that I had watched it a dozen times on youtube and knew the final shape😂. So thank you for getting me one step ahead!!😆😂😂. Have a nice day!

I love all your carving characters. The first you showed in this video (with short mustache) looks like Shawn Connery (James Bond 007 actor) . Maybe you can make them look like famous old hollywood actors (not the new ones).

Your characters facial expressions are amazing! I believe that it would be very interesting for you to carve a chess set (on any theme)! Perhaps Alice in Wonderland, the hobbit, Star Wars, or woodlands. Think of it-before painting you could make silicone molds of each character and mass produce them while keeping your original to paint and keep! ♥️ You really are extremely talented and I will be carving soon inspired by your instruction. I’m a recent subscriber, and I’m not sure if you’ve ever covered this question before. What brand of carving knives do you use? Are they homemade? You don’t typically see a bolster on carving knives. At least not any I’ve owned or seen.
