Just recently discovered your channel and am enjoying your videos, especially these unboxing/“exploring the collection” episodes. I’ll echo what others have already said...wow! Wow!! What a box! Full of truly fantastic records. Most of it music that I enjoy, also. Goodman, Ellington, Armstrong, Herman, Kenton, Henderson, Krupa...superb! I agree with you completely...amazing music! And so much of it simply passed over, or even ridiculed by many people. A whole world of truly phenomenal music to be discovered on 78s. Congratulations on your finds!! Skol, Jeff

Thanks mate, yes I was a bit worried by these long vids and completely taken back by the reaction I have had, so I have been planning more and another one is indeed in the pipe line and then more after that, I wish I had been doing them when I found a massive Jazz collection on Brunswick, I was almost crying with excitiment... If you are interested and have not done so already, there is three videos I made collecting the massive job lot over three weekends. Thank you very much for this comment, it spurs me along to make more and I will... Cheers...

Great video and great box of shellac. Always nice to find Parlophone Rhythm Series records in a job lot - usually makes up for all the bloody Max Bygraves and David Whitfield that are in the majority of the job lots I end up with :-) Your enthusiasm for collecting and discovering the great music on these records really shows!

Well thanks, it is a great hobby and the music is undiscovered for me mainly, I know some little pockets of it, but so much I am finding out.. I have only found about 7 Max Bygraves and there is only one I want so they go in the reject bin and moved on...

Brilliant box, someone put their favorites in to travel with no doubt. Cataloging....I cant even make a start on doing it, too daunting a task.

It was at the bottom of others I have and it was my brother who dared me to get it out and look at it, glad I filmed it... Its the second collectin withing the three thousand, the other one I did not film and was about 300 Jazz 78's... Thanks, Greg...

you were as giddy as a little boy in a sweet shop. The box is a record storage box. My grandfather had a couple.

Oh right, it's not like my other record box so thought it was for something else... Yes, I am a big kid at heart as you should know by now... ;)

Could the box have been an old portable drinks cabinet of some kind? Love the records inside!!

Possible I don't know, the green base makes me think it was something for a sport like bowls, but someone says it is a record box... Maybe one day I'll know for sure... It stays as a record holder though... ;) Cheers... :)

Yes, I looked at this box for a while and then it was my brother that said go on look through it... My biggest discovery I did not film unfortunately as I wasn't expecting anything... That got me about 100 Brunswick Jazz titles and 150 Parlophones too all Jazz, The Brunswicks are my baby's though, this is one of them as we're all the Brunswicks I have so far put up... Still, I have had quite a few finds and need to vlog that too... :)

You got a big collection of hot records in there. Hope you like the Henderson. In your huge collection you have now, I bet you probably even have some Harry Roy. If you don't know who he is, check his stuff out.

Thanks mate, yes I will check them out, and still finding the odd Inkspots too, got about 8 or 9 I think... It is still a jumble of 78's sorted out a little but I will have to go through them carefully again to see what really is there and put them in better order... Thanks again mate...

@@AllMy78s Well I'd be surprised if you don't have two of his since you have like 3000 78s. As far as I know, he was mostly on Parlophone and Decca.

Good additions to your collection. Have you started on the shed extension yet?
