We finally made our first furniture for the new home, a wooden sink for the bathroom. It's made out of Iroko timber.

Superb, can i ask you what is the depth from below x gantry rail to top of spoil board, what is depth of sink and what bit did you use for final cut , thanks George

I am 81, learning the CNC machine. What I really want to make is a very small, maybe five inch bowl? Is there a drawing for this?

Olej tungowy, iroko jest samo w sobie dość odpornym drewnem, ale jeśli będzie jakiś istotny problem z wytrzymałością to faktycznie skończy się żywicą.

I know the feeling quite well, but I hope that over time I will start to treat it no more special than Home Depot product :)

Hi Kim, that is a pure tung oil, actually a couple of coats of it applied within 3 or 4 days

Wszystko super. Jak teraz na dzień dzisiejszy wygląda i sprawdza się ta umywalka. Chce zrobić na mojej maszynie identyczne cudo, ale nie wiem jak z wytrzymałością drewna po czasie. Olejowanie może nie wystarczyć na gorąco wodę. Może próbowaliście żywice epoksydową?
