It is 2/26/2022. I have just finished watching all of Olivier's videos to date. The most impressive one for the artistic side is the one ring to rule them all lamp. The eye of Sauron was another big hit with me. The vase made in reverse I will NEVER EVER forget. Loved it. But the small 30 piece vase on March 2020 is the one that spoke to my soul. My checking account is glad it is not for sale. Truely enjoyed watching every video. The only bad part is now I have to wait and watch for new ones while rewatching some of the old ones. Mr. Gomis, you are a true genius as an artist and as a wood turner.

Oliver, fantastic work and hello from Alaska. I have been watching another toober (Andy Phillip) and can't help but notice how similar the two of you are. The video style, the types of 'builds', the materials used, even your rough physical build and mannerisms. It's absolutely uncanny. Are you one in the same person?

I was just thinking the same thing. Both do amazing work. They make it look so easy. It is not! Almost makes me think I could do this, but I have a feeling all I would do is make firewood. Also crazy ass shop! That sander was insane.

I noticed at one point you stopped the turning to check it out. You hadn't gotten to the point where it was entirely smooth yet you had taken off about 50%. I thought that had a great look to it. And I love your stabilizing jig. what type of wheels did you use that wouldn't leave a mark on the wood?

Roller skate wheels, They do leave a little mark on the wood, but I came back between center to finish it.
