Great video as usual. You’re always going to have to work out the kinks with new equipment you will soon find the sweet spot with the Mike. That bowl reminds me of the old Bon jovi album slippery when wet

You're right Wayne. We are going to try a few other ways with the mic. Let us know if the sound improves on the next few vids. Liza says "finally another fellow Bon Jovi fan"

Good video as usual but preferred the old microphone, seemed clearer.

Thanks Ian for your feedback. We have listened to it and it cancels out the lathe and dust extractor noises, which was what we wanted. However, this is our first time of using it. The mic may have been too close for Glenn and mine unfortunately switched off for some reason. We need to test more but will be using them. It's important people hear what Glenn is saying, as he will not turn without a mask unlike some professional turners who don't wear a mask so you can hear them. We want to uphold safety as well as providing you all with clear information. These are also wireless mics as Glenn will not have wires connected to him, as this can also be a danger in the workshop.

Too bad about the other bowel Glenn I suppose you could fill the cracks with resin. If you wanted to try to save it. The little one looks great hopefully it does not crack up to bad Blessings to you and Liza and Happy St Patrick's Day

Hi Wade. I hope it doesn't crack too. It's a test to see how the bigger one will go. We want to keep them. It should make a lovely fruit bowl. Blessings to you too and Happy St Patrick's Day to you too.

Hi guys. I preferred the old sound but I guess it's just getting used to the new mics & you fiddling about to get the best from them. We can still hear you & I suppose that's the main thing.
