In this woodworking video I use a woodturning lathe to turn a figured maple blank into a hollow form sphere box.

Ahhhhh, those 45's just make me warm all over. But seriously turning a sphere is beautiful in concept. But I never thought it would be this beautiful and the stand/secret compartment. That is next level again. Now I must go set my lathe on fire as I am no longer worthy.

Cheers mate. Thanks for watching. There’s nothing to worry about with spheres, just Jump straight in and give it a go. Lots of cool techniques out there for getting the perfect shape, as you can see I didn’t use any of them in this video 🤣
