Woodwork, a recorder ensemble of Guildhall School of Music & Drama students and graduates performs a set of galliards by Anthony Holborne and William Brade, directed by recorder professor Ian Wilson.

Very nice to listen to this wonderful music, I like the technique of the soprano girl. She is the most leading instrument of the parts. Bravo

1 & 4 are from Holborne's "Pavans, galliards, almains, and other short æires both grave, and light", No. 40 and No. 64 (As it fell on a holie eve), 2 & 3 are from Brade's "Newe ausserlesene Paduanen und Galliarden" (1614), No. 27 and No. 1 You can find the transcriptions at IMSLP (imslp.org/) And, by the way, well done!
