Thank you for taking the time to put together your shop tour. Beautiful, functional, FUN shop. You should be extremely proud of your creativity, design, and hard work. Being somewhat OCD also helps (I suffer the same "affliction"!).

It certainly does, and thanks for the kind words. It is fun. I think sometimes we woodworkers forget that. Best wishes, Darren

Just come across your walk around, I used to stay. There is a place for everything and everything in its place., when I was working for my self, My work shop was 8+Mt wide X 35+Mt long, I made high End doors and windows, for barn conversions, furniture and cabinet work, I’m now retired living in France , I’m in my 70s, I have got most of my tools and equipment, that I can’t get to at the moment the promises that my ex partner and I brought few years ago it’s not really big enough, I’m trying to lay a floor in my garage which will give me a roughly a 6 m² area, are we put in French cleats on the wall to try and get things off the ground and in some order Fashion, I used to pride myself having a very smart and clean workshop, as I’ve just said a place for everything and everything in its place it makes life a lot easier trying to find things,

Hello my friend, Superb bright, clean and tidy workshop, for the screws part I also have jars but to save space I made wall shelves and the jars are fixed by the lid with two screws and two washers all this in a reserve suitable for storage, storage by type and size in ascending order, the same for nuts, bolts and washers. This looks like Alibaba's cave.........great video. Good luck to you, cordially Alain from Belgium.

@@dothanalabamawoodworker6766 , Hello my friend Darren, I also like watching other people's ideas and videos because I test and/or modify other people's ideas. I struggled with workshop hardware, you always have to renew or enhance the stock, I like your workshop, I started small myself and took the plunge with a larger workshop that I was able to acquire with the help of the state and my work, with my colleagues we refurbished the old all-voltage electric motor winding factory. The ground floor as a workshop, the offices on the first floor and on the second my accommodation, 3 x 2000 M² and the workshop is still improving the small arrangements that remain to be made, I wonder if I would have enough of a life to do what I still have to finish.....thinking big is good but not at any price. Best regards my friend Darren, best regards Alain from Belgium.

Wow that is a very neat and clean shop; but you know that I am sure. I have a two car garage shop where my mechanic tool sets reside also, along with woodworking machines and tools. Your floor is a lot more open, i have a long stainless work bench taken out of an old hotel built in 1873; takes up a good bit of space and is not used much for woodworking. You workbench really looks nice too. I envy your free space but i understand how you accomplished that now too. Thanks for your efforts to share that nice shop with us!

I live near you. Where do you get your hardwoods from? I find it difficult to find stuff like maples, walnut, cherry and what not. Great videos.

Thanks. I hope you enjoy them. I drive to The Woodyard in Concord, Georgia. It's a 3 1/2 hour drive but worth it. There isn't anywhere around here I know of worth going to. I've used a couple local sawmills and ended up with bugs. There's a place in Headland - Headland wood products - but they wouldn't let me pick through the stack to get the boards I wanted, so they're no good to me. I hear Jubilee in Mobile is really good. Take care, Darren

@dothanalabamawoodworker6766 ok awesome I'll have to check out the woodyard and the one in mobile. I'm located in Enterprise. I'm new to the woodworking scene and is more of a hobby at the moment as i learn but would love to advance in the future. Thank you again and great content.
