These corner clamps are only for usual 45º miter joints clamping. Here I show how to use this amazing woodworking tricks that help to clamp different miter joints. And if you follow these tips and tricks, it not only works as a clamping system with 45 degrees woodworking joints, it will also work with any other angled joint. So you can see how easy it is to clamp wood corners with these diy corner clamps.

Brilliant, made a set last weekend, and they are the best mitre clamping aid over used. Don’t bother with band clamps or dedicated mitre clamps, these are way better and made from scrap. Going to make some more in the morning before work as I have four oak plane boxes to knock up next weekend. Superb Sir!

These type clamps also work to clamp parts (in particular, four parts) joined together to make an semi-circular arch. The miters are 22.5 degrees, not 45 degrees, and three parts together make a 90-degree turn, just like a picture frame. With dowels holding the joints in position, the clamp squeezes three parts parts together while the glue dries. The fourth part clamps in the same way. Perfect! And thank you for a great idea.

I think you can do exactly the same. But the triangle you cut will be that angle you have to cut for your miter joints
