For those who aren't old enough to be familiar, or perhaps were a little put off by the title, his early movie "Every Thing You Always Wanted To Know About Sex *" is just outrageous joke after gag after bit after joke after gag after bit. If you like this video, start there. For some of us, that period of time (including films like Sleeper and Bananas) produced hilarity that will never be matched. I swear to God, I do not believe he's ever made a bad film, but if you want to see great comic works, you can't go wrong by starting with his first ten or so - including his "earlier funnier ones" :) :)

Bill Woo I laughed so hard watching Sleeper when it came out, I thought I was going to be removed from the theatre in a straight jacket . That’s the least crude manner I could describe it . I had an aisle seat, and @ times found it hard not to fall into it on top of others who had, or just breakdown and grab hold of a perfect stranger, to save me from totally losing my mind, or worse . The thought that I was about to have a heart attack was not very far from the realm of possibilities. I’ll leave the rest to our imaginations, except to say, they all included body fluids . 🤦🏻‍♂️🥴

@@anirudhgoud5035 WAKE UP SIMPLETON. Soon-Yi Previn was never EVER his daughter. The Clue is in the name. Mia Farrow tried to get the media to destroy Woody Allen, while nobody talks about her 3 dead foreign children, and the foreign kids who grew up and survived her evil abuse including Soon-Yi and her brother Moses Farrow, they went on to describe their horrific abuse by Mia's hands. But in america, nobody really listens to the asian community. Of course she loved her all American looking kids and always put them first. The only problem with Woody's marriage (if you could call a successfull marriage a problem), was the age gap, (even though Soon-Yi was 27 when they married). You should do your research before you speak and not just blindly follow the bullshit media like all the other (P-Brained) cattle on our planet. If you are interested to go past the surface crap the media has painted try this one for starters kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o9uplKaYl8qrcZ8.html Then you need to check out kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q7yjd8ypstzaf4U.html It should wake you up if your perception is working properly.

This is long so feel free to skim or skip: My reaction to a Facebook challenge to list top 5 favorite Allen movies (our lists quickly grew longer): My top 5 favorites are: Stardust Memories (no a failure in my eyes), Matchpoint, Deconstructing Harry, Manhattan, Love and Death, bonus September (see more above). Not sure of the order except Stardust Memories is #1. Vicky Christina Barcelona, Midnight in Paris, plus Hanna and her Sisters brings my list up to nine. Let's add Everything About Sex for 10. I don't remember anything about Cassandra's Dream except that I think I liked it. I like that thing that Adi Ludi Shadowspeaker claims doesn't exist: an Allen film that doesn't seem like an Allen film (no Allen character for instance). You will meet a Tall Dark Stranger also has this quality. I think reviewer said that this movie illustrates Allen's moral relativism. He doesn't believe that being a good person will necessarily be rewarded. Or vice versa. Match play as a chilling dramatization of that. And, yeah, itrw, it's kind of disturbing that Allen is a moral relativist, if that's accurate interpretation and it seems to be. I love how Allen processed his public fall from grace with the portrait of dizzyingly pathological Harry. Played by himself. A new, less cuddly iteration of the self rationalizing seemingly harmless because self effacing narcissist hes played in previous movies. I say narcissist for instance because at the end of Manhattan it's clear that he doesn't deeply care which woman he ends up with, so long as he doesn't end up empty handed.
