I’m surprised this didn’t have anywhere close to a 20+ fail rate since dolly is imo the most obscure -olly word, especially since jolly had around a 29% fail rate

Was "DOILY" a valid guess because the I was already known to not be in the word. Also, your smoke detector beeping scared me and I had to quickly check my own one because I thought it was mine!!

Dying was a lucky starting word. I was less fortunate and scraped a win with a 50/50 choice on my 6th guess (J or D). Sauce>Point>Forgo>Lowly>Holly>Dolly

Sequence was Plans Libel Droll Dolly -- but I had an inexplicable thing happen. On guess number three, tried Truly and Wordle said 'word must contain an l'?! Still can't figure why it was rejected.🤔

Why did you even try a word with just 1 L when you knew the answer had 2 L in it?

The game actually checks that you've included all of the yellows you've gotten as separate letters, so the single L in TRULY wasn't sufficient for the double L in LIBEL both being yellow. On the other hand, the message doesn't have a special case to reflect the fact that it already looked for and found an L before it looked in the remainder and didn't find an L.

I'm DYING. You were really DOPEY today Mark. 🥳 Why on earth would you play the 'I' again? Or any vowel? 🤔 This really should have been an easy 3. In a minute. ⏳ There were only 6 words left after guess 2. DOLLY was far more likely than DOILY- but, even on guess 4 when you'd seen DOLLY, you still questioned it, saying, 'well, it's possible'. It wasn't only possible, it was the only word left. 😴
