They need a new trailer that doesn't give away over half the movie Edit: yall this is mine and several other people opinion on the trailer, not the subject. This is literally just not a good trailer from a cinema making perspective 😭😭 please leave me alone now
@lovedbysome54023 жыл бұрын
But the thing is that it isn't about the plot. It's about his experience of schizophrenia. The journey and challenge.
@mirandaskylar90943 жыл бұрын
@@lovedbysome5402 yes, but the better the trailer is the more people will watch and actually learn from these movies. A lot more people are less likely to watch something when they already know the entire plot. Plus if people already know what's going to happen they are less likely to get emotionally involved in the story
@lovedbysome54023 жыл бұрын
@@mirandaskylar9094 perhaps, but then again, the plot doesn't excite me as much as what is seen and heard. I know people who are schizophrenic and the big surprise isn't how they end up with love, but the connection. I'm banking on the idea that the people who did the trailer are drawing the people who love and support the person to see their story as well. You might be right, but it could also be a twist to traditional marketing.

To all the people who say the trailer gave the movie away, I'm sure you don't even begin to understand the struggle that he faces. I hope it's depicted well in the movie. Schizophrenia does not get enough awareness. I'm happy to see a success story. But I also hope that they don't portray this in a way saying that treatment does not lead to recovery. In most cases, early treatment leads to a much higher chance of recovery. I hope to see the turmoil he faces and how he can grow through it. He also seems to be a very high functioning case but that is probably the only way they could make him relatable. I'm very excited about this movie. I will watch it in theaters if they are open. If not, I'll happily buy it to watch it.

Any physical body part breaks, and their's solutions and sympathy. Mind breaks, and you're hopeless and on your own. I have High Functioning Pyschopathy. But I don't consider it a disadvantage. I see it as an opportunity to show people, what the "right" thing to do in any situation is. My friend asks me what it's like to, have less feelings. I like to describe how I am as, the way YOU would feel about something, had you had time to think about it a long time. When I was younger, I found it so strange how people could be going for a walk at night, perfectly fine. But then depending on simply telling them a ghost story, they would no longer be fine. The way I would "feel", in a cemetery, in the middle on the night, all alone. Is the same way you would feel, in that same cemetery, in the middle of the day, surrounded by 10,000 people with music, as if their was a concert going on. My sister says I have no feelings. I prefer to say, I just have the same feeling, all of the time. I saw a video of a woman recording a man in a truck passing her, giving her the finger; and then he crashed. She drove by laughing and said, "ah-ha!". I use this story as an example of why letting your emotions rule you, can be down right terrible. The 3 "emotions" that I don't experience at all are, embarrassment, shame, and regret. My psychiatrist says my lack of feeling regret, is what makes my brain always make the "right" choice. Example being, I would have stopped to check on that same man in the truck who crashed, to make sure he was alright. I would say, preservation of life is the core of how I run my life, followed by making the most of my time.

I think will be a very sensitive movie. The line: 2:13 is so true. Cancer is like a death note... but live with a mental dissorder could be a hell and they need our symphaty too. I wish I can have the chance to watch this movie. And this young man is pretty good, the first time I watched him was in the film: "All the money in the world", with his "grandpa" (no relatives in real life) RIP Christopher Plummer. (5/2/21)

I've watch reviews and many critics have negative thoughts about this movie but I actually enjoyed it. I admit I have not done any research on schizophrenia I love the awareness and platform it has in this movie. Both main actors were great, and I love the girlfriend when she played in the movie Waves.

Trailer gave away the entire plot. So ridiculous.
@doodleproductions75523 жыл бұрын
@@An-Elderly-Dude Well I mean trailers for movies based on books are either extremely vague or show the entire story because you could literally just look up the book and get a whole plot summary anyways, the movie wasn't exactly made for the twists it was made so that fans of the book could get a visual representation , if you'd want a trailer that gives you just enough of a taste for the movie but not too much you'd have to find a movie not based on a true story or book.
@doodleproductions75523 жыл бұрын
@@An-Elderly-Dude The book was extremely good though so the movie should hopefully be worth watching
