Here is a quick 2-day work trip to Chicago to install some APs and new Meraki switches at the new HQ building. Didn't record too much but hope it was enough. I was the only networking person there for this with upper management. Pretty stressful but I got it done.

I pray one day I am at this position installing equipment at the rack finally lol. Where I am, there is another special team which is allowed to touch our equipment only.

Gotta love work trips, they throw off your mental clock and your normal days end up being weird just by being somewhere else. And I love how you're doing network planning while using a using a coat belt for your pants, talk about thinking on the fly! I use a drill on low torque too, dont let anyone say otherwise unless they going to help you hold up equipment while you screw it in. Keep being amazing and doing what you do best.

Yes they do!!! And exactly, I was doing this by myself. This equipment is heavy a drill is needed 😂

Nice work! What kind of switches were those? I would like to see how they are stacked. I have worked with Cisco and juniper switches. They each have their own nuances.

Those switches look nice, we're still handling 37 and 3850s lol. Too bad Cisco's so $$$$ though. You've any exp on HP switches?

Italian beef and sausage dipped with hot and sweet peppers. They just opened one out where I'm at in The Colony and I was so happy lol

Yes ladder but the ceiling are low so it wasn't too bad lol. I had help with some folks that were taller than me as well
