You're my organization hero! I have this done with my horse trailer and everything is set in place, and runs like clockwork. However I struggle to do this with my employment provided truck as it is an open box, and tools are constantly loaded and unloaded on a daily basis. It's very inefficient and important items are forgotten about all the time. I'm always looking for new ideas for carrying small quantities of all necessary items. Thanks!

Interesting n well organised setup, I work on different farms with different jobs but I categorise like plumbing, fencing, machinery operations, stock work into colours/brands so easy remember n identified. CaseIH/tractor ops, Case/plumbing, AC/fencing, stock/Chamberlain, Claas/silage.

I highly recommend the festool systainers, although they are outrageously expensive. They're compatible with the makita cases though which are much cheaper, so I have mostly makita boxes and a few of the cool specialty festool boxes. The best part for me is how I can stack them in the homeowners house and take up very little floor space

Thanks. This is exactly the same truck that I am looking at buying so your video was 100% helpful. I had already thought about the safe side so I am thinking of what tools to put on the road side that I wouldn't use that much. I just started a new job as the Maintenance Tech for 6 resident care homes so I have to carry tools for all trades. I like the idea of having a plywood rack inside to carry lumber from the hardware store to the home. I had not thought of that. I knew I would carry plywood but I figured I would have shelves on both sides and just slide the lumber down the middle. I use the flexible plastic sheets and they would ride a lot easier on your rack. I hope my bed will be 8' so I can add this special feature. Having the five doors per side will make accessing my tools a lot easier than my current situation were I made wooden drawers in the back of my pick-up and I have to pull them out anytime I need a tool.
