The cooler weather looks so nice. Yesterday the temp here was 102 F Very hot for September but we do live somewhat South of you In Oklahoma. We are expecting to be in the upper 80s by Friday. In Las Vegas we still have a couple of months of summer, so this is blowing my mind! We get our final bloom of flowers in November! But right now we are dealing with torrential rains that make our normally arid climate sticky. Your colony's land looks like a paradise on earth!

Was wondering how the wildflowers you planted did. Thanks for showing them. Maybe the soil where they were planted was lacking in nutrients. Maybe next year you could try using some plant food for flowers to help them out. Just a thought. Anyway, enjoyed the video.

What made me think about it, was the beets you all were picking. To create beet powders (as well as other powders) that would be helpful.

We are in yet another Indian summer here in Minnesota. The weather is as warm as summer. We are still going about in shorts and short sleeves. For my daughters and myself, that means that we are wearing shorts under our skirts.

I would be exhausted if I lived there with ya'll. 😂
