I've lived in union market for 6 months and still have yet to learn how to use the bus and feel so intimidated by it for some reason! It’s crazy how we can be intolerant to foods and not even put two and two together. I recently went to the doctor for stomach issues and found out I’m lactose intolerant…never would have guessed but looking back it makes so much sense!

I have always had a naturally bloated belly whether I'm a size 6 or 16. It's my body type and it is what it is. People have thought I'm pregnant before, straight-up asked me or congratulated me! It sucks and it's annoying but people just need to mind their business.

So I don't necessarily have food intolerances; however, dc has DESTROYED my seasonal allergies (especially during cherry blossom season). So ya girl has made her way to the allergy doc, who I now see more than I even see some of my best friends hahahaha

im celiac and lactose intolerant and oatmilk definitely bloats me. but oatmilk definitely is painful so i moved to almond milk and no problems.

i tried an oatmeal cookie today to see if there was a difference in raw/cooked oats and im here to report i am in so much pain HAHA, trying a new almond milk tomorrow!

@@amyrauch omg i am so sorry! i can relate, oat milk is gluten free and dairy free but i had it once in chai and i was so bloated and gassy. i definitely would cut the oatmilk and see what happens. you're not alone in that!

I don't know who started that trend of plant milks being "better". The meat/dairy industry is horrible, but that doesn't mean oatmilk or almond milk are good for us. Most self-stable "milks" are full of stabilizers that are way worse than just a splash of half and half. And growing almonds is actually incredibly cumbersome for the environment.
