Workbench from Old oak and Epoxy resing - unique design that you haven't seen before!
Size 177x67 cm
height 88 cm
For this workbench manufacture, I used:
- wood species:

- epoxy resin
- oil wax (color - TEAK)
- aqua-antiseptic (color - rosewood)

Божечки-кошечки как здорово вышло, какой мастер молодец! Еще залить эпоксидкой трещины на ножках для эстетики и надежности - вообще кайф был бы...и понять что я тут забыла и смотрю от начала и до конца как крафтят верстак хD

Beautiful workmanship. That will last 2 centuries easy. If I were going to put that much work into a bench like that, I would have gone with a 4' x 8' if there was room. Great job.

How refreshing to see a craftsman who is exacting with his measuring and related functions of lumber processing. There seem to be too many KZfaq videos of so-called woodworkers who are sloppy with measuring and processing lumber. My grandfather always told me a half-assed job is no job at all. Because like justice, preciseness in woodworking matters.

Man looking at those knots after you routed out the channels is giving me flashbacks. I did a project with some wood which had a lot of knots in it recently. It was like chiseling through toffee.

@ Samuel Fullman, Yes, a lot of work but this is his dedicated fine woodworking bench. It in itself should look more like a piece of art. A basic workbench, the one you slop paint and stain on, sharpen your mower blades on, rebuild a carburetor on, drill holes through - that's different, and calls for a B/C plywood top and a 2x4 frame, built in two hours or less.

When I first saw how checked & split your legs were, I thought you would fill them with epoxy too. After the dark stain finish was applied, I see why you did not do that. I love the contrasting wood and colors you chose for the finish. I was a bit worried that your homemade rim stands may not hold the weight of the bench during assembly, but they held! Very nicely done! I am in the process of designing my bench and I want to take some of the design elements from yours, especially how you did the edging on your top. I cannot decide if I want to do dog holes yet, but I love how yours turned out! Cheers from Idaho, USA!

Мне нравится, когда человек уверенно руками работает на большом количестве оборудования. Второй момент наличие пространственного мышления. Если бы был композитором, то про музыку бы писал, что пиццикатто запаздывает и т. п. А в смысле верстака все хорошо. У меня станков нет, верстак пока на улице стоит, трудозатрат ручным электроинструментом больше, нервов тоже. Итоговый результат идентичен. Александр молодец, любая авторская работа это хорошо, а профессиональная вообще отлично. Продолжай в том же духе, интересно.
