Yeah, both are on Meeting street. Hyman's is an infamous tourist trap, so many better places to get seafood in Charleston. They have had a sign up for well over thirty years that they were voted the best seafood restaurant in Charleston by southern living magazine, pretty sure that vote was made sometime in the 1970's since that signs been there my entire life and I was born in 80.

That whole "We're having a good time." bit is actually really smart. It's cheap, it's easy. But it's an almost sure way to get a laugh throughout an entire set no matter how good or bad the set goes. It's like a get out of jail free card for bombing. Deon Cole has an even better one if you see his bit he does with a notepad on stage. It's like a cheat code for a laugh, which other comics might hate but it absolutely works.
