It's so nice seeing you working with an ongoing track. No pre-determined sentences or content that you want to highlight. Just pure Big Z. More of this content, please!

Best way to program those snare hits is to make the velocity the biggest on the first hit. You're programing 16th notes like 8th notes or 32nd notes where as a real drummer would accent just the first at that tempo but since this is no rule edm it would sound cool if you started it just accenting the 1 then build it to accenting every other hit like an 8th note.

Simple but effective. I saw that you have your primary tool as the cursor and secondary as the scissor tool. How did you switch so quickly to the automation curve tool? Is there a shortcut other than pressing T to open the tool menu then the respective key for the automation curve tool? 13:36 you can see clearly what I’m talking about.

I think you should have removed the clap from the buildup because when the drop hits with no clap it feels like something is missing and maybe high passed build to tame the energy too! but still Big Z always show me something new thanks for that, you and jay eskar are my favorite teachers hahaha

u select curve tool in the piano roll instead of pointer tool. Then u can bend when u drag the automation after clicking on a given point.
