Working on Handmade Hollow Handle Knives @ Snow-Tac Knives today I'm cutting out blade blanks model 23 drop point blade the "Storm" and the model 24 clip point fighter "Soldier" with different blade steels 5160, 1095, 01 and 80CRV2 steels so I've got 2 months to make as many model 23 and model 24 blades as I can before the hollow handle tubes and cap ends are in stock. Basically I'm solely concentrating on hollow handle knife blades! Cutouts, beveling primary and secondary, sanding, stampings, heat treat & temper, re-sanding, polishing fit n finish, Also I will be making around a 10-12 Randall style handguards totally handmade and using a beautiful and high quality commercial bronze alloy material for these handguards with the 1/4" survival holes. These blades and the guards will be completed and waiting on the 300 series stainless steel hollow handle tubes and lanyard caps to come back into stock where I purchase them. In that way I can have quite a few of my handmade hollow handle survival knives completed here at Snow-Tac Knives. The handles will be wrapped in #12 bank line either hunter green, black and red colors. Thus anyone interested in one of my Snow-Tac hollow handle survival knives there will be many to choose from and in different steels so anyway that's the goal I've set for the next 2-4 months.
