Mike, you forgot the 2 o-rings / washers on the injector. They where still on the valve cover at index 54:47; and when you tightened the injector.

Really glad to see that you’ve gotten your son out in the shop working with you teaching him valuable skills as well as spending father & son time together which is something you don’t see very often these days anymore. I got my son to get out in the garage and shop to work with me pretty much all the time teaching him how to work on cars, weld,do electrical work, installing custom car audio systems and I also taught him how to do all kinds of work on the house when it was needed. It’s the same way I was taught and felt it taught him valuable lessons while he was young and now he can get out and work on his and his friends trucks himself very rarely needing my assistance. Your son is going to grow up to be a great young man because of the lessons you are teaching him at such a young age.

There is nothing like bringing a piece of history back to life DP. Years ago, as a senior in high school, I talked a neighbor farmer into selling me his old 1937 hand cranked 4 cylinder Silver King tractor along with a Oliver 5 foot sickle bar mower. It took all my savings from 2 summers of bailing hay and a local grocery store. I spent hours in restoration when not working the 2 jobs but after a year of prideful ownership, I had it ready to take to exhibits. Sadly unknowingly after a 6 year commitment in the USAF, I returned to find greed had sold my tractor. A Lesson in life with endless stories that could be shared by multitudes. 🧐 I can see Gunner spending many hours on this machine.

When I was around Gunner’s age and would say “I Can’t” I got told what I now consider some of the best advice/life lessons saying ever and that is “Can’t Never Could Do Anything” so Think about it and do it. To reinforce those life lessons my father made me a leather wrist band that I wore for years that has CNCDA on one side and the word “THINK” on the other side. Always good to see a father and his kids working on a project because that is how kids learn to not only do stuff but have the confidence to attempt to do new and more difficult things on their own

You are so Lucky to have gotten that pre combustion chamber out that easy ,if you ever had a plastic oil line give up the ghost you would never consider using it again , copper line is the only way to go ,did you grease the coupling on the Hydraulic pump drive ,The injectors could use a cleaning or just a good workout. When you shut the pony engine down, shut the gas off first and let the engine run out of gas will save you lots of headaches .
